CAMC Medicine Committed to a mission of education and training health care leaders.

The CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine provides continuing medical education, outreach education and research support to physicians and allied medical professionals, as well as patient and consumer health service projects in West Virginia and the region. The Institute also operates a school of nurse anesthesia affiliated with Marshall University and 14 graduate medical education residency/fellowship programs sponsored by CAMC and in affiliation with West Virginia University - Charleston Division and the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Additionally, CAMC sponsors pharmacy residency programs and a clinical psychology internship.

The CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine is proud to recognize our Hematology and Medical Oncology fellows, Internal Medicine residents and medical student collaborators whose research will be featured at the 67th American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting and Exposition in December.

We also congratulate Haris Sohail, MD, whose abstract was accepted for the ASH press program, as well as Saad Javaid, MD; Rafi Aibani, MD; Abbas Gain, MD; and Lindsay Wilson, each selected to be recognized with an ASH Abstract Achievement Award.
