The CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine provides continuing medical education, outreach education and research support to physicians and allied medical professionals, as well as patient and consumer health service projects in West Virginia and the region. The Institute also operates a school of nurse anesthesia affiliated with Marshall University and 14 graduate medical education residency/fellow

ship programs sponsored by CAMC and in affiliation with West Virginia University - Charleston Division and the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Additionally, CAMC sponsors pharmacy residency programs and a clinical psychology internship.
