STRETCHING THE SOURCE OF YOUR PAIN
Realign your body's muscle imbalances

Any chiropractor will tell you the source of your pain comes from your skeleton being out of alignment. This is usually caused by repetitive movement patterns that we do on a daily basis such as sitting at a desk for hours at a time, or sleeping facing the same direction in bed night after night. Over time, your muscles will adapt to being in these same positions, losing elasticity in muscle groups that are constantly in a shortened position. Since your muscles move your skeleton, it's your tight muscles fault that your skeleton is pulled out of alignment to begin with. If the flexibility of the muscles are not addressed, your muscles can pull your body back out of alignment (in some cases within 4 hours) after a chiropractor adjustment.

Flex-Able's Assisted Stretching Program first identifies your muscle imbalances by having you perform a simple movement assessment. We then incorporate a series of stretches specifically to your needs that will relieve the tension of muscles that are pulling your skeleton out of alignment. The average client can feel an immediate relief from the pain they are experiencing, and the feeling usually lasts 2 - 3 days. Just like eating healthy or working out at the gym, it takes time for your muscles to achieve the long lasting effects of being stretched (3 months on average) to create a balance of muscles around your joints.
