If you need quick care for certain OB/GYN concerns, you can now schedule a virtual visit through MyChart.

Available Monday through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. By answering a few short pre‑screening questions, you can easily see if a convenient video visit from home is right for you.

Concerns that may be addressed during a video visit include:
• Yeast infections/vaginitis
• Urinary tract infections
• Breast problems/breastfeeding support
• Bleeding through more than one pad or tampon per hour
• Menstrual disorders
• Birth control education/counseling

Caring for families means supporting them through every stage of their journey, including some of the most meaningful first moments. 💜

Lauren Prosch brings a unique perspective to that care as both a registered dietitian and an international board-certified lactation consultant. Working with families on the maternity floor, in the NICU, and through outpatient lactation visits, she helps parents navigate feeding with a holistic approach that connects maternal nutrition, milk supply, recovery, and infant health.

After spending 10 years as a dietitian, her own breastfeeding journey inspired her to become a lactation consultant — motivated by the compassionate support she received from a Novant Health colleague.

Today, she’s passionate about providing that same encouragement to others, helping families build confidence and reach their feeding goals. For parents beginning their NICU journey, her message is simple: you’re not alone.

Breastfeeding is about more than nutrition. It’s about bonding, comfort and connection, and our team is here to support families every step of the way.
