Our minds are evolutionarily built to search for what's "wrong" or "bad" in the moment. It takes effort to turn our mind towards what is "right" or what we like in the moment. It is worth the effort. Pause right now and notice ANYTHING you like about this moment, exactly as it is right now.
In this moment, I like the cozy pink blanket on my legs, the adorable dog cuddled up next to me, the ability to share these skills with others. Once I start to name the things I like, they seem to multiply. ❤️
