We are excited to share that the first two workshops in our new healing suite are now live at Good Karma Botanica & Wellness.

Join us for From Wire to Wonder: Jewelry Making Basics on June 8th, a beginner friendly hands on class taught by Helena Christopher of The Genetic Code, where participants will learn how to create beautiful copper and crystal jewelry.

Then on June 20th, join us for our Holistic Wellness Workshop facilitated by Chef Saa Shalom Bey of Rawtopian Bliss, an afternoon centered around raw vegan nourishment, mindfulness, movement, and meditation.

These are the first of many beautiful offerings to come in our new healing suite, a space created for intentional gathering, creativity, healing, and connection. We are now welcoming intimate workshops, meditations, and what we lovingly call our Artisans, Healers, and Makers Workshops.

If you are a facilitator, creative, healer, or teacher looking for a warm and welcoming place to host your audience, we would love to connect with you. We have both indoor and outdoor space available to accommodate intimate gatherings in a meaningful way.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and at Good Karma Botanica & Wellness, we believe caring for the mind, body, and spirit should be a priority.

Our May Herb of the Month is Lemon Balm, a gentle and uplifting herb traditionally used to support relaxation, calm the nervous system, and bring a sense of ease during stressful moments. Today’s Full Moon in Scorpio is not here to play!

This moon peaks on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 12:23 PM Central Time and 1:23 PM Eastern Time. It is also the Flower Moon, and this month is extra powerful because May will bring us two full moons. The second full moon arrives on May 31, making this a Blue Moon month.

The Full Moon in Scorpio brings deep emotional truth to the surface. This is a time for release, cleansing, shadow work, transformation, and honest reflection. Scorpio energy asks us to look at what we have been carrying, hiding, avoiding, or giving too much power to.

This is a beautiful time to cleanse your home, take a spiritual bath, journal, pray, work with your ancestors, pull cards, rest, cry if you need to, and release what no longer belongs in your spirit.

Ask yourself:

What am I ready to release?
What truth have I been avoiding?
What emotional pattern is no longer welcome in my life?
What part of me is ready to bloom after the release?

The Flower Moon reminds us that release is not the end. Sometimes we clear the soil so something new can grow.

Root of Water came through as the message for April.

There are seasons when your sensitivity is not a weakness. Your sensitivity is your wisdom, your knowing. Your sensitivity is your spirit picking up on what is said, unsaid, felt, and hidden beneath the surface.

This card feels like a water maiden rising, soft yet powerful, tender yet deeply aware. Her beauty is not just in how she appears, but in what she carries. Even her hair, blooming like hibiscus, speaks to the heart and the heart, as beautiful as it is, must also be protected.

This is your reminder for April: just because you feel deeply does not mean you must react quickly. Be still. Be observant. Pray or wait a few minutes before you speak.

You are being called to honor your depth without drowning in it or proving anything to anyone.
