What is Occupational Therapy in Pediatrics?

A child's occupations are play, self-care, feeding, school, and self-awareness.

We help children strengthen, modify, and adapt their activities, roles, and routines to become the most independent version of themselves. Most of our work with children looks like play, which is how they learn best. Through this role, we can develop strong, safe relationships with children to improve fine and gross motor skills, social interactions, self and emotional awareness, feeding indepence, problem-solving abilities, and address any difficulties that may cause them to be delayed or not at an age-appropriate level.

We put the FUN in functional!
