Small changes = big results when you’re consistent. Here are some tips that work:

🍽️ Eat on a schedule (your pancreas loves routine)
💪🏽 Move your body daily — even 10 minutes lowers blood sugar

Living with type 2 diabetes can feel overwhelming, especially when emotional support feels out of reach.

In June we celebrated Men’s Health Month!
Let’s talk about something that doesn’t get enough attention: diabetes and men’s health.
Men are more likely to develop Type 2 diabetes at a lower weight than women, largely because of belly fat, which increases insulin resistance. And when diabetes is left undiagnosed or unmanaged, it can lead to serious complications like:
⚠️ Heart disease
⚠️ Stroke
⚠️ Kidney failure
⚠️ Amputation

But for men specifically, it can also cause:
🔹 Erectile dysfunction
🔹 Overactive bladder
🔹 Frequent UTIs

💡 Don’t wait for symptoms—get ahead of them.
In this week’s episode of my YouTube series, I break down what every man should know about diabetes and how to take control of your health.
Additionally, click the link to take the American Diabetes Risk Assessment and learn about your risks. It only takes 60 seconds- https://bit.ly/44pW2a1

👁️ June is Cataract Awareness Month!

Cataracts are more than just a part of aging—they’re the leading cause of blindness worldwide. While they’re more common in older adults, cataracts can begin developing much earlier in life.

Did you know?
🔹 Over 25.7 million Americans aged 40+ have cataracts
🔹 Diabetes increases your risk, depending on how long you've had it
🔹 Cataracts can impair vision, increasing the risk of falls and injury
🧠 Impaired vision affects more than just sight—it can impact your independence, mobility, and safety.

✨ The good news? Cataracts are treatable. Cataract surgery is safe and effective, and it can dramatically improve your quality of life.

👓 Get your eyes checked. If you’re noticing blurry or dim vision, don’t wait—schedule an eye exam with an ophthalmologist today.
