STOP putting joy on layaway.

STOP saving it for “special” moments.
STOP holding it back until everything is “done.” Until the list is cleared, people are pleased, and life finally feels “perfect.”

And you gon' throw your shoe at me… because I’m about to step on your toes:
the list is never finished.
And “special” be overrated sometimes.

So in this year of our LORD 2026? Joy can’t wait.

Now.

Have the audacity to live it today—in the small stuff, the regular moments, the 10-minute pockets of stopping to breathe you keep skipping because they don’t look “productive.”

Joy is NOT a reward for surviving.
It’s part of being alive.

Day 1 of the Peace of Mind Challenge went down yesterday. It was so good seeing Black women carve out just 5 to 10 minutes for themselves on a busy Monday. 💛

Day 1 of the Peace of Mind Challenge is officially in the books! 🙌🏾 Most folks chose mindful listening for their activity. And one brave soul even took it outside barefoot on the grass 👣🌿. It was beautiful seeing Black women carve out just 5 to 10 minutes for themselves on a busy Monday. That’s what showing up for you looks like. 💛
