April 13 is almost here, and here’s what’s changing for oxygen orders:

Medicare will now require BOTH a Face-to-Face (F2F) encounter and a Written Order Prior to Delivery (WOPD) for select oxygen HCPCS codes.

That means:

✅ F2F must occur within 6 months before the order.
✅ WOPD must be complete and signed before delivery.
✅ Documentation must be validated upfront, not after.

This is a clear shift to front-end compliance, and it will impact intake, delivery, and billing workflows.
