💼 About the Role:
As a bilingual psychotherapist, you’ll provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy to a diverse client base—especially Spanish-speaking clients. This is a great opportunity to reduce barriers to mental health access and deliver culturally responsive care in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

🧠 Key Responsibilities:
Conduct intake assessments and ongoing therapy sessions
Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain progress notes
Provide trauma-informed, culturally competent care

Participate in team meetings and trainings
✅ Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
Licensed or license-eligible in North Carolina (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT; associate-level considered)
Fluent in Spanish and English
Strong clinical documentation and time management skills
Passion for serving diverse, immigrant, and/or LGBTQIA communities
✨ Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with trauma, domestic violence, or immigration-related mental health concerns
Familiarity with TF-CBT, EFT, CBT, DBT, or other evidence-based models
Availability for some evening or Saturday appointments

At Victory Family Counseling, we believe in showing up for our LGBTQ+ community with more than just words. This Pride, we’re excited to announce the launch of our Transkind Collective — starting with the opening of VFC’s Free Trans Closet!

🏳️‍⚧️ This program offers free gender-affirming clothing, accessories, and personal care items to VFC’s transgender and gender non-conforming clients in need. It’s one way we’re putting our values into action and making our space more loudly inclusive and empowering.

We're also proud to introduce Santiago Cornejo (he/they), a trans man and the Program Coordinator for VFC’s Transkind Collective. Santiago is here to make sure every client who accesses the closet is met with warmth, safety, and affirmation.

Shoutout to Our Amazing Team!

We’re incredibly proud of our dedicated team of therapists who just completed an intensive two-day training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) with the Child Treatment Program.

TF-CBT is a highly effective, evidence-based treatment designed to help children and adolescents recover from traumatic experiences. It combines trauma-sensitive interventions with cognitive behavioral techniques to support healing, reduce symptoms of PTSD, and help families grow stronger together.

Our team’s commitment to professional growth and trauma-informed care is what makes Victory Family Counseling a safe and supportive place for the families we serve.
