It’s hard to convey all the work that goes into a non-profit counseling agency because many of the counselors and doers are behind the scenes or are in confidential session that equate to a goal of healing and growth. 🍁🍂🍃

Our Office Administrator, Dominque, initiated a ‘Fall Harvest Festival’ in the office. We had flowers, donuts, cider, and cake. Because of her, fall scents and decor were in the air. We took flowers to our partners and gave them to staff in between appointments. Showing grattitude of the work aka the harvest we do is so important. We are ao grateful for our team and partners. ✨ Celebrating a Year of Connection and Growth ✨
One year ago today, we hosted our very first Brunch & Learn centered on Agape—a space to rekindle relationships and spark new ones that would help our organization grow in both heart and impact.
During that inaugural gathering, we were inspired by Central Church, where our founder Ann Noonan once collaborated with a dedicated team to create networking opportunities for counselors and pastoral counselors. Together, they explored how to strengthen referral pathways, collaborate effectively, and offer meaningful trainings to enhance their collective work.
Fast forward to today—and we’re excited to announce our third Brunch & Learn happening October 15th! 🎉
If you’re a counselor or pastoral counselor, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect, learn, and grow within a supportive community.

✨ Mental health matters, but right now, access to care is harder than ever. Rising costs, job loss, and limited insurance coverage are creating real barriers for those who need counseling the most.

At Agape, we believe no one should have to choose between healing and financial stability. That’s why our scholarship program exists to cover the immediate needs of clients waiting for support. Right now, at least 6 clients are waiting for approval, and with your help, we can get them started.

💙 Each eligible client can receive up to 15 counseling sessions through this program. Without subsidy, that care costs $1,900–$2,250, a heavy burden for someone already in crisis.

Your donation today can make the difference between someone struggling alone and someone getting the support they desperately need.

Agape is hosting its very first Couples Counseling Group of the year !

Our very own Dorothy Brooks, Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor, will be the host of these sessions. Couples will learn to reconnect with strategies and techniques on how to build a healthy relationship with your partner.

It is priced at $75 per couple for existing clients and $150 for new couples.
