You can’t establish a boundary without consequences. You can say all day how you have boundaries but without implanting consequences you drive yourself crazy and say how others overstep boundaries but if they have no consequence then why would they not?

Stop coddling with consequences and how to not hurt feelings. An electric fence doesn’t keep warning you not to touch it so when you do and get shocked that’s on you but you learned not to touch it.

Establishing consequences is the foundation to establishing a solid boundary.
