Watching the recap of the Bad Bunny halftime show brought tears to my eyes.

I was overwhelmed with emotion and joy.
Proud of coming from the Bronx, New York.
Proud of my Puerto Rican son.
Proud of my two Puerto Rican grandchildren and their Puerto Rican mother.

An African-American woman and a Puerto Rican man came together and created a lineage where **two cultures meet with beauty, grace, rhythm, and celebration**. And that lineage continues.

I’ve always loved the music, the food, the togetherness, the brotherhood — reminders of what we are *all* capable of.

And the words that stayed with me most, words we’ve been saying and must continue to live by:

🌿✨ Holistic Living | Managing Stress & Anxiety ✨🌿

Stress and anxiety are signals, not failures. Your body, mind, and spirit are always communicating—asking for presence, softness, and care.

Two gentle ways to support yourself:

🌱 Tip 1: Regulate before you react
When stress rises, pause. Slow your breath, unclench your jaw, drop your shoulders. Regulation creates safety in the body, and safety creates clarity.

🌱 Tip 2: Limit energetic overload
Not everything needs your attention. Reduce noise—social media, constant news, overcommitment. Peace grows when you choose what you allow into your space.

Two simple exercises you can do anywhere:

🧘🏾 Exercise 1: Grounding Breath (2 minutes)
Inhale slowly through your nose for 4 counts.
Hold for 2.
Exhale through your mouth for 6.
Repeat until your body softens and your thoughts slow.

🌬️ Exercise 2: Sensory Reset
Name 3 things you can see.
2 things you can feel,
1 thing you can hear.
This brings your nervous system back into the present moment.
