Thank you again to everyone who has liked, shared, and donated to our mission of helping individuals and families directly. The love that pours in with each Amazon delivery is a beacon of hope for these people in WNC and for Trinity McMahan Johnson and I.

We made deliveries to Swannanoa and Marion yesterday. Trinity and Jarit Johnson will be making another trip up to Spruce Pine on Tuesday to deliver more. Swannanoa was one of the hardest hit areas. It's looks like you're in the desert up there. The dust from the red clay and mud is everywhere. It's toxic and just standing outside makes your eyes, nose and throat burn.

Just like in this picture - there is dirt, destruction, abandonment AND also beauty, color and spirit.

People living there are having health and breathing issues from breathing this in. It's all in their homes, cars, everywhere. The mold is everywhere. People who already have dehumidifiers are dumping the water out of it SEVERAL times a day from the moisture It's taking in. Dehumidifiers, air purifiers, damp rid, moisture absorbent bags are a huge need right now.

NEW - We are working on Thanksgiving meals to families as well as getting them Christmas trees from local tree farms. Continuing to support each other and the community.

NEW & FUN - We will be putting together Christmas gifts for families and kids. Have fun, invovle your kids, and allow them to decide what to give to this in need. We will be starting another Amazon wish list soon for Christmas gifts.

Monitory Donations & gift cards are always helpful too along w the items on the Amazon list.

Trinity & I get tired, brain fried and frazzled. And yet everything we receive a message, or see half a smile, it makes our heart sing. It is our WHY to give and recieve a hug. To hear how people are paying forward the items and help. We Pray for together. We Pray for the volunteers who are up there.

We are thankful for friendships and for the little things in life.

Good Morning!

We are 1 week out and the donations and volunteers has been amazing! PLEASE keep them coming. This is not a weeks worth of clean up. This is going to take years and our mountains need us.

The beauty of the North Carolina mountains has been scared by Helene. Towns completely washed away. People displaced, homeless with nothing. Cold weather is coming as soon as next week!

I am asking my Facebook friends to help. Also, to spread the request. Blankets, Tents, Coats, Long Underwear, Gloves, hats, socks or any items you wish to donate. Easiest, quickest way is Amazon. Shop Amazon and ship to my home in NC. (Message or text me for my address) All donations will be distributed by authorized and trustworthy groups.
