BFR allows us to create strength and muscle-building adaptations using much lighter loads than traditional strength training. This can be incredibly helpful during rehab when someone isn’t able to tolerate heavier weights due to pain, surgery, irritation, or injury recovery.
By strategically limiting blood flow during exercise, we’re able to challenge the muscles safely and efficiently while reducing stress on the joints and tissues.
