Team Jordan

Jordan Sabio is the son of Kevin & Julie Sabio and has recently been diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Jordan is currently being treated at Children's Hospital.

Update: Jordan graduated from DeLaSalle in May and now he is attending Delgado. He also just got his license a few weeks ago 😯 now he just needs to get the left foot pedal to be able to drive. (So many steps😔)

Well Sunday night was our last event with the greatest people from the
Make A Wish Foundation and the NBA Cares. And it was also a amazing experience, me and Jordan and all the Wish kids got to go to the practice court and team photo shoot before the game. The kids got limited edition Money balls and got pretty much all the players from both teams to sign it and took a team photo with Team Lebron and team Giannis. The smile on Jordans face when he had to stand behind Lebron and Kyrie for the picture was PRICELESS.
Our family will NEVER FORGET this week of activities and what
Make A Wish and the NBA did for these kids.We also met some great kids and families that we bonded with and became family with over these last 5 days,our boys and us as parents have a special bond that will never be broken. I cant wait for my boys from Virginia, Connecticut, Maryland, Michigan to come visit so we can show them some southern hospitality. Ive always been a basketball fan and a NBA fan but seeing how these players and the Legends, the execs, coaches, etc interact with the kids, i really have a newfound love for this league and everyone involved in it. Please if you ever get a chance to donate to
MAKE A WISH or any other charity that helps out, please do it.

Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, the NBA stepped up again.
Today we all got to go to the
NBA LEGENDS BRUNCH
All i can say is WOW. They honored Charlotte greats
Mugsy Bogues, Glen Rice,
Dell Curry and Alonzo Mourning.
We were all star struck as legend after legend came to our 3
Make A Wish tables to meet the kids, sign and take pics.
This week has been amazing and unforgettable and we still have the game tonight. We got to interact with

Alonzo Mourning

Mugsy Bogues
Spencer Haywood

JB Smoove was funny as MC and the GOAT Michael Jordan gave the closing speech.
Best for last, Ernie Johnson acknowledged all the
Make A Wish kids and their families with cameras and spotlights and they got a standing ovation from over
200 NBA LEGENDS, execs etc.

Great and exciting first day of 3.
Dave and Busters for lunch with the Make a Wish group. Then the Rising Stars Game tonight. Jordan is loving it, got a autograph from
Dikembe Mutombo and shook Kyrie Irving's hand.
