At Support, Inc., the Day Treatment program is structured according to multi-grade classrooms of 8 to 10 children, with two of our staff members in each classroom at a time. In addition, a therapist is available to conduct group and individual therapy. On average, children spend 6 to 9 months in this structured classroom environment.

The day consists of instruction in social skills, character education, team building, group therapy and other activities based on cognitive behavior and ecosystemic theory. Attendance is five days a week from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Students spend time each day working on academic assignments provided by teachers at their home school.

Our goal is to reach long-term success and meet the family’s vision through an evidence-based, non-clinical/therapeutic approach. We implement a problem-solving process that helps families identify needs, navigate systems, and build on natural supports and self-efficacy (belief in oneself). High Fidelity Wraparound is a team-driven, strengths-based approach designed to support youth and families facing complex challenges that may affect academic success, attendance, and engagement.

Each HFW team includes a dedicated High Fidelity Wraparound Facilitator, the family, and a Support Partner who work collaboratively to assist and empower all family members. By pooling their unique resources, perspectives, and skills, the team develops and implements a unified, individualized plan tailored to the specific needs of both the youth and the entire family.
