$200 is the average travel cost per traveler in our Domestic Violence support program. Our Travelers Aid program helps people in Charlotte flee domestic violence by paying for their travel to a safe haven elsewhere in the country- often with friends and family.

Our Travelers Aid staff work with each client to plan their escape, prepare them for their trip, and confirm their safe arrival. Travelers Aid Manager, Robin, says that this is her heart and passion. She's been working with this population for the last 12 years with Community Link.
