For years, treating amblyopia (often called "lazy eye") meant patches, which many kids found uncomfortable or embarrassing. Now there's an innovative alternative that's changing how we approach this common childhood vision condition.

CureSight uses special glasses and streaming technology to help strengthen the weaker eye while kids watch their favorite shows at home. The system sends slightly blurred images to the stronger eye and clear images to the weaker one, encouraging the "lazy eye" to work harder and develop better vision. Studies show it's just as effective as traditional patching, with a 93% compliance rate because children actually enjoy using it.

This FDA-approved treatment requires 90 minutes a day, five days a week, and is typically covered by insurance. Combined with regular eye exams, it offers families a more comfortable path to treating amblyopia – especially important since early treatment before age 8 is most effective.
