Don’t neglect yourself just because you’re busy preparing for tomorrow.

Still get your workout in today and definitely tomorrow before your day gets away from you.

A brisk walk after dinner has been proven to lower your blood sugar. Can’t get outside? Dance in the family room.

Make a plan so you don’t overdo it tomorrow while still enjoying all of the great dishes.

We talk a lot about taking care of ourselves, but wellness and self-care aren’t quite the same thing.

🌿 Wellness is the big picture…your overall physical, mental, and emotional health. It’s an ongoing lifestyle that includes habits like good sleep, balanced nutrition, movement, stress management, and healthy relationships. Think of wellness as the noun.
💛 Self-care is what you do in the moment to support that bigger picture—like taking a break, journaling, meditating, saying “no,” or enjoying something that recharges you. Think of self-care as the action verb.

Think of wellness as the long-term journey and self-care as the daily steps that help you stay on track. 💫

A lot of people are waiting for Monday to start or even 1/1/26. Just think… if you start today, you will be 45 days of being locked in before 1/1/26! Start small. Keep it simple. Build momentum. It’s about discipline, not motivation.

You’ve got 48 days to get it done! Don’t adopt the mindset of “I will just wait until January”. You do that every year!
