Ladies, there are two things you're going to HAVE to do to get rid it... One is being mindful of what you eat. The other thing is engaging your core CONSISTENTLY! Here is my "testimony": I do both and now my tummy area is as close to flat as it's ever been! And, I have had TWO c-sections. If I can do it, ANYONE can! I believe this exercise has played a KEY role. Let me know whatcha think.

I’m choosing to keep self-care REALLY simple today:soaking up this all natural antidepressant and slowing down. Yesterday was a long but fun day at the track (Go, App ) and this morning’s church service reminded me of the importance of having and sharing your own testimony. I’ve decided that the rest of the day will be spent doing what you see here. Does the house need to be cleaned? Maybe it could use some picking up. Do I have a few loose ends I could tie up for this week’s work? Yep. Are those my priorities right now? Nope. Me…I’m the priority. I deserve this pause and I’m taking it. I’m encouraging you to follow suit. How are you spending your day?

Everyday? Yes, EVERYDAY! Self-care is an everyday experience. I love a good beach trip or massage but I can’t get those everyday so I have to find small ways to build self-care into my EVERYday routine. What do you do on a daily basis to replenish and recharge?

***Reminder*** Self-care can be more than skin deep. Yes, grooming is important to look and feel good. But self-care can be so much more. Find activities that incorporate your mind, body and soul. Try meditation, prayer, journaling, movement, eating clean, getting sun… there are soooo many ways to practice self-care!
