LMP stands for Last Menstrual Period and it plays a big role in your pregnancy journey. When you visit your healthcare provider, they'll ask about it to help estimate when you conceived and predict your due date.
According to womenshealth.gov, a typical cycle lasts about 28 days, but remember, every woman is unique. Your periods are considered ""regular"" if they usually occur every 24 to 38 days. So, from the first day of your last period to the start of the next, if it's at least 24 days but not more than 38 days, you're regular.
Knowing the date of your LMP is important but if details slip your mind or if your cycles are irregular, no worries! Ultrasounds help determine how far along you are. If you think you're pregnant and need a test or an ultrasound, we're here for you!
