Therapist Spotlight: Tabi Youngs, LCSWA

Tabi is accepting new clients, and her fall hours are filling up quickly. She specializes in ABFT family work, expressive art therapy, body image/self-esteem, parent coaching, anxiety, depression, trauma, and recognizing signs of disordered eating.

To get to know Tabi better, we asked her how does her dog brightens her day or supports her well-being, and she said:

“Every morning, Luna greets me with a full body tail wag and excited spins. No matter how groggy or overwhelmed I feel her energy set a new tone for my day. What I love most about having Luna is the unconditional companionship. Luna doesn’t care what I accomplished that day, how I look, or whether I said the perfect thing . That constant presence is a comfort like no other. Luna helps reduce my anxiety just by being nearby. When I’m feeling overwhelmed, petting her slows my breathing and grounds me. She is a reminder to live in the moment and find joy in the simplest things. ”

Reach out to our office if you're interested in scheduling an appointment with Tabi or learning more about her and her therapeutic specialties!

Therapist Spotlight: Sarah Marion LCSWA

Sarah is accepting new clients and works with 🔸teens and young adults 13-27.🔸 She has a 🔸special focus on student athletes, college transition, grief, family dynamics, and OCD.🔸 She also leads an 🔸Adolescent Process Group🔸 which meets once a week for teens who are looking for additional support to individual counseling.

To get to know Sarah better, we asked her 🔸why she decided to become and therapist🔸 and she said:

“I was inspired to be a therapist when I was studying to be an elementary school teacher and recognized young people struggling with mental health at such an early age. Often times people misunderstand therapy and vulnerability to be “weak” where processing experiences and emotions is arguably one of the strongest things a human can do to do better for themselves. Something I hope my clients take away from their time being with me is to be kinder to themselves the world around them, I hope they feel a bit more empowered in themselves to accomplish the things they want for themselves in their lives.”

Reach out to our office to schedule an appointment if you think Sarah could be a good fit for your or your child, or if you’re interested in her adolescent group!

The way you speak to yourself matters. Confidence does not come from being perfect. It is built through patience, self-respect, and consistent reminders of your own value. It starts with your thoughts. Choose words that support you, not ones that bring you down.

In our latest blog, we break down what trauma responses look like, how they show up in everyday situations, and why they’re rooted in your nervous system’s learned survival patterns. "We cannot become what we need to be by remaining what we are." Growth requires honesty, self-awareness, and often discomfort. Whether it’s setting boundaries, unlearning harmful patterns, or facing parts of ourselves we've avoided, real change doesn’t happen by staying the same. But it is an essential part of self-discovery and breaking free from what no longer serves us.
