Shining Hope Farms Enabling individuals to reach their full potential through equine-assisted activities and therapies. We have three locations:
1. Our Mt.

Shining Hope Farms was founded in 2002 by Paul and Milinda Kirkpatrick in response to the needs in the community to provide therapeutic services in an enriching farm environment. The purpose of the farms’ services is to improve the quality of life of the participants as well as their families. Shining Hope Farms’ programs have been structured to serve individuals and groups with a variety of disabilities such as cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and hypotonia, as well as those in need of mental health support. Our clients find wellness, strength, and hope on the back of a horse. Holly location is located in Mount Holly at:
328 Whippoorwill Lane, Mount Holly, NC 28120.

2. Our Charlotte location is located in Charlotte at:
3701 Kidd Lane, Charlotte, NC 28216.

3. Our Conover location is located at 6347 St. Peters Church Road, Conover, NC 28613

We offer both therapeutic horseback riding and therapy services which include physical, occupational, and speech therapy that utilize hippotherapy as a treatment strategy.
