Y’all, our 25th anniversary celebration was absolutely everything we hoped for, and it’s all thanks to this phenomenal crew of Black-owned businesses! They didn’t just show up, they SHOWED OUT!

Major, major gratitude and endless praise to our dream team:

* - Where do I even begin?! Not only did she and her partner Michelle bless us with the most beautiful decor, she was our absolute savior as an event coordinator, a true crisis preventer keeping me calm, and she even had her son on staff because I forgot to hire wait staff TWICE! She basically single-handedly ensured this party was a success! 🙌🏾

* - Y’all know I love a baby shower meatball, but those turkey sliders ! 🤤

* - Hair laid, period. And yes, blondes have more fun! 💁🏾‍♀️

Yesterday Jason and I celebrated 25 years of marriage surrounded by our closest friends and family. We have truly lived a blessed life! Thank you to everyone that made it and those who couldn’t.

Soooo, this is how my Monday started. I 100% trust my gut when it comes to dealing with potential clients that give me the ick off jump. I’d rather lose that money than lose my life or freedom because I took yours. My responses were intentionally cold, clipped and the opposite of helpful which is typically enough to send them on their way. This one obviously couldn’t read the room, so they got cussed out in it.

Alright Charlotte fam, HUGE update! 😔 Due to the forecast of intermittent thunderstorms ALL DAY for our April 24th event, we’ve made the tough call to CANCEL our “Life” movie night. We are SO bummed and were really looking forward to kicking off the season with you all.
