Black women carry a lot.
We go to work tired and still perform.
We raise our children in a world that scares us.
We love deeply.
We survive disappointment.
We keep showing up, even when nobody sees the cost.
I wrote an article about the beauty of being Black, and I did not water it down.
This piece speaks to Black women who have been overlooked, overworked, underappreciated, and still expected to be strong. It speaks to mothers. It speaks to women struggling in love. It speaks to women trying not to lose sight of their worth.
This one is personal.
This one is truth.
Some days, being Black feels like carrying more than your share and being expected to do it with grace.
