Think this is just a sleeping baby? Think again. ✨

What you’re really seeing is a mama finally getting a long, uninterrupted shower — knowing her little one is safe, loved, and cared for. 💛

Postpartum care is about more than the baby. It’s about giving mom the time to rest, recharge, and feel seen while I handle feeding, soothing, and even making nourishing meals and drinks.

Wrapping up another week with visits to returning families.
There’s nothing like being greeted at the door by my “doula babies” — now running into my arms as proud big siblings with the best hugs.
From those tiny swaddled days to these big kid moments, I love stepping back into their homes, sharing in their everyday life, and catching those little in-between moments that mean the most.

They may have outgrown the swaddle, but never the snuggles. ❤️

Some moments at work catch me off guard—in the best way.

Today, while I was swaddling baby sister, big brother stood beside me, copying every move with his favorite stuffed monkey.

He watched so closely. Mimicked so gently.
And in that moment, it hit me—
I’ve been here before—with him.
I still see him as a baby.
And now I’m back, holding his sister.
The most beautiful full circle.

There’s something really special about returning to a home, years later, to meet the next baby.

Every mom knows this pain — the sound of a bottle tipping, the sight of milk on the floor. 💔

To all the moms who’ve watched their hard-earned milk spill across the counter or floor — I see you. It’s not just milk, it’s time, effort, love, and sacrifice in every drop.

Today my client dropped a bottle of pumped milk. And you know what? She took it like a champ. No tears, just deep breaths and a quick reset. Because that’s what moms do.

From the moment I stepped into this home, I felt like part of the family. As a third-time mom, she welcomed me with such openness, and it was a joy to support her through this precious season. The days were filled with nourishing meals, laughter with her older kids, and even sweet moments with their lovable dog who quickly became my buddy! 💕
Here’s what she had to say about our time together…

" Galia was the best gift to me postpartum - besides my baby of course ;) I will never forget the first day she walked in my front door and said "Can I give you a hug?" and I didn't realize until then how badly I needed that hug. She is incredibly nurturing and gives the best advice. She is an amazing cook and also so wonderful with my toddlers, not just the baby! I cried happy tears the day she came and sad tears when we had to say our goodbyes at 13 weeks. I wish she could have stayed with us forever! We love you Galia!!"

I had to capture the moment! So much love in one photo!

Mom loving on her newborn baby girl🤱🏻. Mother in law loving on her daughter in law. Loving on a newborn mama being by her side. 👩🏻‍❤️‍💋‍👩🏼

When I walked into the bedroom to bring mom and grandma a warm cup of tea, It was heartwarming to witness this special moment (I asked permission to take the photo).

We often hear "shower your baby with love and attention", but not enough ...
Shower the mom with love and attention!!!

Being nurtured and nourished after birth is key for healing! Key for a healthy physical and mental postpartum period !!!
