OCD is often misunderstood, and many people don’t realize that it can show up as persistent thoughts, repetitive behaviors, or intense anxiety when routines are disrupted.

Some possible signs may include:
• Repeatedly checking things (locks, appliances, messages)
• Intrusive or unwanted thoughts that are hard to ignore
• Feeling the need to perform certain routines to reduce anxiety
• Spending a lot of time managing fears or uncertainty
