OMB Yoga On Tap has become a POWERFUL COMMUNITY of Charlotte yogis each Tuesday. Ken Heptig has been the most supportive Charlotte yoga teacher of OMB Yoga On Tap. We are honored to have him lead next Tuesday's, July 21st, class.
Ken teaches yoga at 8 YMCA of Greater Charlotte . Ken created GoalYoga™ in 2007. He also conducts yoga teacher trainings through the GoalYoga School™. Ken's initial training was Anusara Yoga. His yoga certification training was with Rolf Gates.
Ken was drawn to yoga by the amazing arm balances. As he progressed in his yoga practice he realized that our physical yoga practice is simply a portal to our spiritual journey.
Ken will weave one of the spiritual lessons of yoga into your physical yoga practice. Ken believes that the biggest life-changing benefits of yoga come from your spiritual yoga practice.
Ken has 10 certified assistants joining him Tuesday & loads of Dowd YMCA Free Class Passes for the OMB YOT Yogis!
OMB Yoga On Tap is grateful for the Charlotte yoga community and for Ken Heptig who make it what it is today!

So proud of my Dowd Monday night yoga students.

It started with a man coming in late to a very crowded, extremely advanced Hot Yoga class. It was easy to tell he was brand new to yoga and found the last spot in the front center of the room. You could tell he was way outside of his comfort zone since he didn’t know the yoga poses and was still dressed in his long Army camouflage pants.

Half way through the class we went into Crow Pose and advanced Crow options. I asked if anyone wanted to learn to do Crow. He raised his hand. I helped him and on his first try did a great Crow Pose. I have never had this happen in 9 years of teaching, the entire class stopped practicing and gave him a tremendous round of applause for much more than an outstanding Crow Pose.
