From first contractions to first cries 🤍✨
Labor began at 5:30pm on Easter Sunday, and by 7:00am the next morning, she was ready to meet her baby at the hospital. With steady support, movement, breathwork, and trust in her body, she progressed beautifully—3.5cm to 6cm by early afternoon. She used nitrous oxide for a time, then chose an epidural at 2:43pm as labor intensified.
By 8:38pm, she was fully dilated. At 10:00pm, she began to push with strength and determination… and at 10:23pm, her baby made their grand entrance 💕
“It’s a girl!” — the sweetest moment, announced by dad 🥹🎀
And the most special part… I had a feeling all along she was a girl 🤍 I even guessed she’d weigh at least 7.5 lbs—and she came in at 7.6 🥹✨ such a beautiful, affirming moment.
Every birth is unique, powerful, and worthy of being honored. This one was filled with patience, informed choices, and so much love.
Only an epidural, but ALL her strength 👏🏽
✨ Doula support matters. From early labor to delivery, you don’t have to do it alone.
