We hear so much about balance, right? Work-life balance. Balance your time. Balance your energy.

The word is outdated.

Balance assumes everything gets equal weight, all the time.

And you know that’s just not realistic.

It’s pressure.
It’s perfectionism.

Balance sets us up to feel like we’re always behind.

So instead, I started leaning into harmony.

We hear so much about balance, right? Work-life balance. Balance your time. Balance your energy.

Sometimes a visual is helpful to understand the meaning behind harmony.

What about this?

The balls represent "all the things".... life, work, business, family, friends, personal time and anything else that you can include. All of these things are on your mind constantly and at the same time....the goal is to "balance" it all right????

WRONG!

Harmony, refers to things working together in a cohesive way, rather than equally or with constant effort to juggle priorities.

Harmony is about aligning the elements of your life in a way that they complement and support each other.
