Have you heard about the WakeMed Supportive Birth Services program?It truly aligns with the needs of expecting parents who have a history or life trauma or birth trauma. Providing an opportunity for them to connect with a Labor and Delivery nurse beforehand is a remarkable way to address their concerns and help them feel heard and supported during such a pivotal moment in their lives.
The collaborative approach between nurses in Labor and Delivery, Lactation, and Postpartum care undoubtedly contributes to a more positive birthing experience. It’s unique programs like these that make a significant difference in the mental and emotional well-being of families as they embark on their journey into parenthood. I am proud to be a part of such an amazing program!! ❤️.
