Social media has always been the bane of my existence as far as business endeavors go. I am not quitting. I am still available via email and my website for therapy inquiries and support, but I am taking a hiatus from social media for an undetermined amount of time.

In a world that forces productivity, constant movement, and unrelenting growth, don’t forget to listen to your inner voice and what she needs, even if it doesn’t fit the status quo.

Everyone says your wedding is the best day of your life and before last Saturday I thought, “they’re probably exaggerating” 😅 wrong. Our wedding day was the most beautiful day. Even through the hiccups, it was absolutely perfect and I’d change nothing about it. If only we could relive it every single day. 🥂

I’m hoping to get back to my speech bites soon! I’m currently in a state of euphoria, slowly returning to reality after a week of celebrating the fact that I married my best friend!

Today’s the day! The last three years I worked exclusively with k-5 students. This year I’ll be working mostly with preK, keeping just a handful of my k-5 students. Students come back August 6th.

Eight months into 2025 might be an odd time to be getting motivated or start setting goals. Working in the school system, though, this is when my year starts. I’ve spent the summer hibernating from as many responsibilities as possible because last year was a hard year. This year there are looots of fun things in store! Parties, weddings (including my own), a potential trip to see my bestie in Poland, hopefully buying our first home, growing my business… maybe this will serve as a sort of vision board. A manifestation of what will happen for us 💫 what are you planning for yourself in the coming months?

Two posts in one day, who am I?

I absolutely love working with my neurodivergent clients and the commentary they provide through their view of the world brings me a lot of joy. I promise I did answer him every time he asked what I was writing and explained why, which only made him laugh even more.

And for some additional background, this came from a conversation about me forgetting he’s only 11 bc he is very tall for an 11 year old, at least compared to the 11 year olds I know.

When you aren’t burnt out, you have better facilities to support your clients. (Did I still think of this idea to support my visual learner client last night as I was going to sleep? Yes. But that’s not the point bc last minute or spur of the moment is where I thrive unfortunately lol. BUT I do know the creativity would have never revealed itself if I hadn’t stepped back and taken care of myself, even if that meant slower and less business for a time).

From March to May, scheduling was a bit of a puzzle as I tried to navigate working my full time job, coaching tennis, and seeing private clients (while also planning a wedding).

The last day of school was May 23rd, and after a couple weeks of not worrying about too much, I’m feeling ready to find a new routine! I am still planning my wedding (November 2025 - woohoo!), but I will not be coaching tennis next year, which, as hard a decision that was to make, frees up my after school hours and will allow me to keep a more consistent, easy to maintain schedule. I’ve got flexible summer hours, though all appointments will move to after school hours beginning August 1st.
