BrightStar Care Charlottesville and Trinity Hospice brought the NOISE! 🥁🔥

They had the energy turned all the way up with an incredible cardio drumming session — and our residents were right there matching every beat!

The room was filled with music, laughter, movement, and nonstop smiles as everyone drummed, danced, and got their hearts pumping together. Someone tell us why we don’t do this every single day?! 🎶👏

We welcomed our VP of Resident Programs & Memory Care, Paula, who shared about her journey preparing to climb Mount Kilimanjaro! ⛰️ 👟

She even brought a flag for residents to sign - one she'll carry with her all the way to the summit.

When Paula asked if anyone thought there was an age limit for climbing a mountain, one resident, who recently turned 100 years old, said it best: "I could climb one now if I just had a good knee - I know I could!" 🤩

It was such a great week of spotlighting the exceptional leaders who make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, families, and fellow associates every day.

Back in January, we asked our residents what was sitting at the very top of their bucket lists as part of our Signature Program. 🎰

For Judy, the answer was easy: a day at our local casino!

We rolled the dice and made that dream a reality. Judy and a group of our Assisted Living residents headed over to Caesars Casino for a day of bright lights and big smiles.

It’s safe to say Judy had a blast. She’s already asking when the next trip is! 😊🎲

🐾We reminisced and shared stories about their beloved dogs, who are truly man’s best friend

🏀 Stayed active by taking our best shots at the basketball hoop in honor of March Madness

It's moments like these that turn neighbors into friends and create a community filled with connection and purpose!

had a great time welcoming our friends from the Albemarle County Sheriff's Office for an evening of trivia and ice cream social! 🚓🍨

The deputies severed up the best scoops along with some great questions, making the night fun and engaging. Our residents had a lovely time mingling and getting to know each one of them and also winning fantastic trivia swag!

We are so thankful for not only their time, but for their continued service to our community!💙
