Across ancient civilizations around the globe exist creation myths connecting us back to our primordial origins of the cosmic waters. These stories weave through oral tradition and ancient texts into our modern-day understanding of who we are.

When we look at how these stories evolved through time, across cultures and within the context of geopolitical, religious and indigenous ideas blending into our modern-day cultural narratives, we can illuminate our subconscious narratives around the masculine and feminine that have been shaping modern-day history and the treatment of women.

Let’s shine a light on these ancient narratives and restore what has been forgotten long, long ago.

Join me on January 11th at 1 pm Eastern Time for a deep dive into the historical evolution of Water Dragon Myths throughout the West and East in “Water Dragons and the Feminine Mystery”!

In this 2-hour online course, we will be covering:

~ Water, chaos and the infinite ocean in creation and diluvian myths across early civilizations and a discussion of how they understood their relationship to water

~ The earliest water dragon myths from Sumer, Babylonia, Egypt, Greece, Syria, India, China and Japan

~ The evolution of the personification of the water dragon of chaos alongside stories of goddesses/women transforming from bringers of life into bringers of chaos and destruction

~ Western dragons – the spread of Christianity and patriarchy, Biblical dragons, Christian saints and dragons, dragon-slaying knights and the guarding of the treasure

Chinese and Japanese worldviews of the significance of water; water temples, ceremonies and rituals; and the dragon and how it changed throughout history with the influences of Indian Buddhism, Daoism and Confucianism

~ Archeological evidence of water dragons

We will close the circle with a guided meditation with a light language and toning transmission to connect you to your ancient water dragon inner wisdom.

With the remembrance of the true water dragon within our psyches and our personal connection to the primordial feminine waters, we have the ability to restore and ignite our integrated expression of the feminine and masculine energies within ourselves. May this energy create a ripple effect to support our families and loved ones, our communities and Mother Earth.

Across cultures and centuries, dragons have been portrayed as beasts to fear, conquer or slay — yet long before patriarchal history rewrote their symbolism, dragons were revered in ancient times as bringers of water, fertility and the primordial creative force, who held in equal balance their feminine and masculine counterparts.

Throughout my research of dragon myths and legends, I began to connect the dots between the evolution of dragon story symbolism and the decline of honoring the feminine within cultures and nations in the Eastern and Western worlds.

How far back can we trace the evolution of this phenomena through mythological stories?

And why did the dragon become vilified in tandem with cultural perceptions of the feminine?

The time for the restoration of the feminine is now, and with it, reclaiming the primordial essence of the Water Dragon within ourselves and the stories embedded in our collective unconscious.

Join me on a journey through time as we compare the evolution of water dragon symbolism from ancient to modern times to its relationship to the distortion of the original feminine that we can seen in cultural shifts and historical events.

This 2-hour online workshop is part mythic teaching, part energetic attunement and part embodied remembrance. It is an invitation to use stories as a vehicle to remember what was lost and to reclaim a lineage that lives not only in myth, but in our cellular memory.

The Waters are Returning.

These are not the floods of biblical times, but the restoration of our very DNA. There are ancient waters that are literally returning to this planet and with them, the consciousness of the Divine Mother who cleanses, nourishing and restores ALL.

You’re invited to an informal discussion on the topic of ancient waters, dragon myths and the Feminine, where we will create sacred space to enter the primordial womb of that which we are each birthing in this new timeline of planet earth. This conversation will include my personal stories and experiences in connection to the Feminine streams of energy, the Divine Mother and the cleansing and restoration of timelines here and multidimensionally.

This was a potent conversation this morning, where Mary Jo and I really get into the meat of discussing the Call to Adventure within the Hero’s Journey and the process of moving through resistance to change and the refusal to the call.

We point out how natural and normal resistance to change is and what that looks like in the cycle of the Hero’s Journey. We are inviting you to join us on this journey to be the Hero of Your Story and guiding your through the unknown, so that you can making meaning and finds the strengths gifts that are already inside you.

We have prepared a workbook for you to map out your life story within the Planetary Cycles and Hero’s Journey framework to prepare you for this workshop experience. The workshop will be focused on a chapter of your story rather than your entire life story.
