This was a potent conversation this morning, where Mary Jo and I really get into the meat of discussing the Call to Adventure within the Hero’s Journey and the process of moving through resistance to change and the refusal to the call.

We point out how natural and normal resistance to change is and what that looks like in the cycle of the Hero’s Journey. We are inviting you to join us on this journey to be the Hero of Your Story and guiding your through the unknown, so that you can making meaning and finds the strengths gifts that are already inside you.

We have prepared a workbook for you to map out your life story within the Planetary Cycles and Hero’s Journey framework to prepare you for this workshop experience. The workshop will be focused on a chapter of your story rather than your entire life story. The workbook is intended to help you zero in on a part of your story that you’d like to explore in the workshop.

Join me in circle this Saturday at Darden Towe Park in Charlottesville from 9-10 am for a sound bath journey to guide you inward into your body's intuitive wisdom. I create sacred safe space and open the circle with a guided meditation into your heart. I use tuning fork frequencies and singing to support your inner journey, harmonizing your energy field for greater health, ease and wellbeing.

I will set up circle near the dog park and old farm house. You can park next to the outdoor pavilion. I will have some chairs available, but feel free to bring your own and whatever you need for comfort. :)

I wanted to share an article I wrote about what I learned about regulating my central nervous system after going through a shocking event last fall.

I share my in-depth experience with neurofeedback (i.e. EEG biofeedback), neural rewiring, fascial and somatic exercises and using music, frequencies and singing to coming back into balance.

You’re invited to my Vibrational Balancing Workshop!

In this special event, you will get to experience ear acupuncture (or magnets) for resetting and restoring the central nervous system. The specific protocol I will be using is called NADA, which has been used in clinics around the world to support people with an overactive nervous system and overall STRESS.

In this circle, I am combining ear acupuncture with a guided meditation into your body’s awareness, tuning fork frequencies and my singing voice to help you melt away your tensions and promote restful sleep.

I have received the NADA protocol dozens of times, and it is VERY relaxing. You can anticipate feeling like a cloud after this workshop. If you are uncomfortable with needles, you have the option to receive this protocol using ear magnets instead of needles.

Whether you receive acupuncture or magnets, this protocol activates important brain centers that regulate the central nervous system. These five points are for:

1) The sympathetic nervous system - for moving out of fight-or-flight mode
2) The kidney adrenals - for releasing fear and nervous system hyperarousal
3) The liver - for detoxing anger
4) The spirit calming point - for emotional wellbeing; and
5) The lung - for releasing any long-standing grief, anxiety or depression

You can experience this event seated or laying down. Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing. You can bring a pillow and/or blanket for coziness if you like.
