I’m Emily, the woman behind The Impertinent Woman.

I’m a mom of six, raising several medically complex kids, a chronic illness warrior myself, and someone who fell deeply in love with the quiet healing of herbs and tea. What started as blending teas for myself during difficult seasons slowly turned into something I wanted to share with others.

Now I hand-blend small-batch herbal teas designed for moments of rest, reflection, and ritual in everyday life.

Whether you just found this page today through the beautiful human that is The Baked Witch or have been here quietly watching things grow, I’m so grateful you’re here while this little apothecary grows. 🌙☕

The doors are open.

The Impertinent Woman Apothecary launches today with our first collection: handcrafted herbal tea blends.

Created for rest, comfort, and reclamation, these teas are an invitation to slow down and care for yourself with intention.

This is only the beginning. Additional apothecary offerings — including bath soaks and incense — will follow soon.

For now, the kettle is warm and the rebellion begins with tea.

Tomorrow feels big. 💜

Over the past year, these tea blends started quietly in my kitchen as something personal — a way for me to slow down, breathe, and find moments of calm when life felt overwhelming.

What began as caring for myself slowly grew into something more. I realized how powerful simple moments can be — a warm cup, a pause in the day, a moment to reset — and I wanted to share that with others who might need it too.

Tonight I’m finishing preparations, packing orders, and getting everything ready for launch morning.

The Impertinent Woman officially opens tomorrow at 9 AM, beginning with handcrafted tea blends… with much more still to come.
