Honest post. No hype.

I opened a Dad Cohort with 15 spots.

3 dads stepped up immediately.
Which means I have still have spots open.

But I’m good with that.

Because I don’t want everyone.
I want dads who are ready to lead themselves again.

2026 has started. Not Monday. Not “after the holidays.” Today.

If you’re a dad who’s been saying

Here’s the truth:
Life doesn’t slow down — you level up.

This year isn’t about extreme diets, 2-hour workouts, or burning yourself out.
It’s about simple, repeatable rules that actually fit a dad’s life.

Start 2026 with this mindset shift:

Eat like an adult who wants energy, not crashes

Move daily — even if it’s just walking

Train a few days a week with intention

Sleep earlier than your ego wants you to

That’s it. That’s the edge.

Tuesday tip:

Dads, you do not have to cut your carbs in order to lose weight and get in shape.

In fact, you don’t have to cut anything out of your diet.

Removing food, restricting, and saying that you can’t have something just adds to the stress and pressure of trying to get in shape.

I would rather you focus on what you can do and that is to make sure you eat enough protein.

Focus on protein first and you’ll be light years ahead on your nutrition

Most dads think the reason they’re out of shape is because they “don’t have enough time.”

But lack of time isn’t the real issue — lack of a system is.

Dads don’t fail because they’re busy.
They fail because they rely on willpower instead of structure.

A few months ago, I started working with a dad named Mark.

He’s 41.
Two kids.
Runs a team of 15 people.
Coaches his kids’ teams.
Commutes 40 minutes each way.
He told me the same sentence I’ve heard from literally hundreds of dads:

“I want to get healthier… I just need more time.”

Fast forward 8 weeks:

Book #9!

Yes, I’ve read 9 books this year (so far)! This is well beyond how many I read last year and it got me thinking about why that has happened.

The amount of free time in my day has not increased

I am busier in general than I was last year

I don’t “want it more” (whatever the hell that means)

The simplest explanation is often the right answer.

I actually did 2 things:

1. I made a plan
2. I followed that plan.

That’s all I did.

If you want something, you need a plan and you need to follow it. That’s all.

Dads, I’m speaking to you specifically here. Summer is approaching quickly. Are you planning on spending time with your kids this summer or will you be “too busy” and “too tired”?

Do you have the energy and even the ability to do that? Do you have a plan set up to get in the best shape of your life? If not, I want to help. Give me 30 minutes, 3 days a week and you will have the right plan to help you feel better and have more energy.
