I’m excited to share my first small gathering at the Coach House here at Garden of Life Coaching & Retreat!🌿

This space has been slowly coming together, and it feels incredibly special to finally begin opening it up for intentional gatherings.

Clarity & Connection at Gardenview is a peaceful, faith-based midweek morning designed for women who could use a little space to step away, reflect, and reconnect.

This will be a very small, intentional group (just 4–8 women), gathered in the Coach House and surrounding gardens for a quiet and meaningful time together.

Date: Wednesday, May 6
Timeframe: 10:00–11:30 AM
Location: Gardenview (my property here in Chattanooga)

If you’ve been feeling stretched, busy, or simply in need of a reset, this may be a beautiful opportunity to pause for a bit.

I’d love to have you there if it feels like a good fit. Feel free to message me for details or to reserve your spot.šŸ’

There’s something quietly grounding about gathering eggs at the end of the day…

A simple rhythm.
A reminder of provision.
A moment to slow down and notice what’s been given.

These little moments are part of what I love about life here, and part of what I hope women experience when they come to Gardenview— a chance to step out of the noise and reconnect with what really matters.✨

Hello friends! These past few years I’ve been quiet on social media while focusing on family, my coaching work, and spending A LOT of time caring for and shaping our property. I’ve decided it’s finally time to begin sharing here again.ā˜ŗļø

The gardens and outdoor spaces around our home have developed into something very special, and I am excited to begin introducing Gardenview— the name we’re using for our property here at Garden of Life Coaching & Retreat. We are now able to open the gardens for very small weddings, elopements, and other meaningful gatherings. Hooray! šŸŽ‰

The album I just shared offers a glimpse of some of the peaceful outdoor spaces around the property.

There have been several other fun (and BIG) projects in the works— Stay tuned for additional albums that will highlight the long-awaited and beautifully renovated Gardenview Coach House… as well as the bridal-inspired Gardenview Retreat Suite.

This has all been a long-held dream quietly taking shape behind the scenes, and I look forward to sharing more of what we’re creating here. šŸ’

Here’s a little something to consider for your : If you’ve ever disappointed by someone it may actually be your own fault… Because you expected too much from them in the first place. šŸ¤”

Isn’t that a kick in the pants?

ļæ¼This isn’t something I came up with… it’s a thought that’s been around a long time. Certainly something to consider… and it just might ease the burden of expecting too much from others and being let down.

Go with this instead:

Be kind. šŸ’•

Be even kinder than necessary. šŸ’—

And remember that everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about.

Does something need pruned in your life? What is no longer serving you? Is there one area in your life that is overshadowing another and needs cut back? 🧐

These are great questions to explore, because the boundaries and changes that might develop may enhance your life in a way that has multiple positive ripple effects!

I was inspired by a Facebook post my friend Bob Grove wrote recently… I saw it the day after I recorded my last video, ā€œWhat do you need to quit?ā€ Here’s what Bob had to say:

ā€œHave you ever visited a vineyard? There is constant attention given to the condition of each vine. The gardener takes particular care of each vine and its branches. Because he is interested in producing quality grapes, he prunes the wild shoots that produce leaves and no fruit. God is the Gardener of your life. He trims the troublesome shoots so that you will be productive and fruitful for Him. Often, pruning looks and feels painful, merciless and wasteful. But with God there is no random cutting. He trims away only what is harmful and bad for you. Blessed trimming today!ā€

These are words to live by! Seeking God first, allowing Him to prune the garden of our lives, will help us grow and flourish in ways beyond our expectations! 🤩

Hello friends… here’s your for :

Communication isn’t what counts… Comprehension is!

Very few people listen. I mean really and truly listen.
How many times have you been talking with someone only to have the other person start looking at their phone? 🤨

Or how often have you had the feeling that the other person is just waiting for you to pause what you’re saying so they can jump in and say what’s already filling their mind? šŸ˜

We’ve all had it done to us… and if we’re going to be honest here, we’ve all done it too. šŸ˜”

Learning to truly listen is an art. And it’s worth learning. Any of us CAN start to be more intentional in each and every communication. I’ve even built a successful practice because of it. People need to be heard. YOU deserve to be heard.

Comprehension and the full understanding that comes from it is the best gift we can give to the people in our lives. šŸ’

So choose to be the best listener your friends know… you might be surprised at the blessings that will flow back in return! šŸ’•

seems a great day to remind ourselves to be … To embrace the to be our true and authentic selves as we were created to be. As the author Emily Barnes says,

ā€œYour free time is precious, spend it with the people you love best.ā€

I would also add… Spend it with the people who also truly love you back. šŸ’•

So my friends ~ who you let into your circle. Prune your life of those who silence you, speak up when the Spirit moves you, and enjoy the blessing of being true to yourself. šŸ™Œ

Here’s a nugget of that might brighten your day… or someone else’s!

ā€œBe kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about. ļæ¼ā€

I just love that quote. Kindness is truly powerful… Any of us can be the highlight of someone’s day by just a word or gesture. šŸ’•

Now go add the sparkle to someone’s day! 🤩

Here’s a question or two for : Is there something you need to ? Perhaps an activity (or relationship) in your life that isn’t serving you any longer? Or maybe one area of your life has been encroaching and crowding out another?

Your life is truly like a garden, with many interconnecting aspects that each require attention for you to grow and flourish. With this in mind, in today’s video I want to help you take a look at your life with a fresh, new .

What needs pruned back?

What do you need to ā€œpull outā€ and quit because it doesn’t serve you anymore?

And in other, more exciting news… What new things are you ready to plant into the garden of your life?

Just as a garden is never finished, your life isn’t finished until it’s over. If you keep growing and planting and pruning… learning to enjoy the process each and every day… you just might find an overarching abundance you may have never thought possible!

The month of May can get crazy… So let’s take time for :

Take a deep breath, and relax this month as much as possible.😌

Remember that you don’t have to have it all figured out. And you certainly cannot do it all. It’s ok to let go a little.

Maybe let go a lot.

It’s also ok to give up trying to be all things for all people… or trying to look like you have it all together.

It’s especially ok to feel a little sad over the kids finishing yet another year of school. They’re ļæ¼growing up so fast. Too fast, it can seem.

And if you’re one of the moms or dads who has a child graduating from high school or college this year, your emotions are probably running especially high.

Things in your life may be changing faster than you think you can keep up with.

Life never stays the same.

But that’s as it should be. The best things in your life might be just around the corner.

In the meantime, right now, take time to breathe. Don’t miss out on enjoying the blessings and the beauty in the small moments of .

Let go and let God. You can trust Him to lead. He’s got you. šŸ’—

ā€œTherefore I tell you, do not worry about your life… But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.ā€
