Renewing your mind isn’t a one-time moment—it’s a daily rhythm, shaped by small, intentional choices over time.

With the help of the Holy Spirit, simple practices—like prayer, gratitude, and choosing truth over scrolling—begin to guard your heart and protect the worth God has already placed within you.

The environments we live in matter too.
Small visual cues—a verse on your mirror, a note on your desk, a quiet moment to reflect—can gently pull your thoughts back when life feels loud or overwhelming.

Because our minds are always being formed by what we repeat.
And over time, those small reminders begin to shift us—interrupting negative thinking, quieting fear and self-doubt, and creating new patterns of peace, clarity, and trust in God.

Even journaling—naming your thoughts, noticing the lies, and replacing them with truth—becomes a way to make space for God to renew you from the inside out.

Small, steady rhythms may not feel like much in the moment…
but they are shaping who you’re becoming. šŸ¤

You don’t have to hold it all together.

If you’ve been carrying more than you were meant to…
If you’re tired of trying to be enough…

This is for you šŸ¤

I’m so honored to be part of the **Women of Eden Virtual Summit on May 12**, alongside so many incredible women. This event is connected to my friend Nichole J. Suvar and her beautiful new book I Don’t Have to Hold It All Together—a message I know so many of us need right now.

We’ll be talking about what it looks like to release the pressure to perform, stop striving for worth, and begin living from the truth of who we are in Christ.

You’re invited.

You can sign up for the summit here:

I’ve been sensing that God is inviting me to grow in how I steward my strength.

For much of my life, boldness, confidence, and assertiveness have come naturally to me. They are part of how I’m wired. And I can see now—they are not flaws to fix, but gifts to steward.

But I’m also learning that strength, when left unchecked, can come across as sharp. Especially in the everyday moments—at home, with my children—where tone matters just as much as truth.

With little ones running around, it’s easy for me to default to directness. To move quickly. To correct. To lead with authority. But I’ve started to notice how that can sometimes quiet their wonder.

And that’s not the heart I want to lead from.

So I’m learning something new.

Not how to become less bold…But how to become more gentle within my strength.

Scripture speaks about a ā€œgentle and quiet spiritā€ (1 Peter 3:4), and for a long time I misunderstood that. I thought it meant being passive or soft-spoken.

Gentleness is not weakness. It is strength under control (Colossians 3:12).

It’s the ability to hold authority and tenderness at the same time.
To be clear, but not harsh.
To be direct, but still safe.

God has given me a voice.
He’s given me leadership, conviction, and assertiveness.

And now, He’s teaching me how to use those gifts in a way that reflects His heart.

To lead with both truth and grace.
To be bold in my faith…
And gentle in how I carry it.

This is the work I’m in right now.
Learning how to live in that tension—not perfectly, but intentionally.

Take a moment to ask yourself:

– Where do I default to control instead of connection?
– Where is God inviting me to soften without shrinking?

Renewing your mind isn’t something you do just once—it’s something you practice every day.

It can look really simple…
reading your Bible before picking up your phone,
taking a moment to pray instead of reacting,
or writing down a few things you’re thankful for.

These small choices matter more than you think.
They help your mind learn what is true, good, and peaceful—instead of fear, shame, or doubt.

This month, we’re leaning into what it really means to renew your mind—practically, honestly, and one day at a time. And maybe, along the way, you’ll find yourself gently rewriting the story you’ve believed about your worth.

This is what chasing your passions looks like on a Saturday morning.

In between the dishes, letting the dog out, and laundry, is incremental progress toward dreams, passions and goals.

It’s not sunshine and rainbows, it’s dedication and prayer. ā˜€ļøšŸŒˆšŸ™

It’s worship.

It’s multiple drinks to quench my thirst. Oh, throw protein in there too! šŸ’Ŗ

How do you make time for your passions, dreams, and goals?

Grounding daily in our worth means guarding our minds. We have to test and intentionally examine the thoughts that come in and the messages from the world.

ā€œBe transformed by the renewal of your mindā€¦ā€ — Romans 12:2

This month, we’re slowing down and leaning into what it really looks like to renew your mind—practically, honestly, and in a way that actually sticks. Not just positive thinking, but true transformation from the inside out.

Because the way you think shapes the way you live… and maybe even the story you believe about your worth.

April, we’re ready for you. šŸ¤
