Last night, my small group grabbed our husbands and headed to a Lookouts game—and it was so much fun! Our sweet husbands definitely had to endure all of our shenanigans, but these women make me laugh harder than anyone.
I’m so grateful for friendships where we can move seamlessly from belly laughs to honest conversations about the things that break our hearts, the struggles we’re walking through, and how much we love Jesus. They were some of the first women at church to truly love me where I was in my faith and give me space to be fully myself.
I’m incredibly thankful to have them in my life.
I also had the bonus of seeing my son Holden there. What is the likelihood that we would be in the same row! And I don't want to forget how I felt God showed up for me by bringing that pastor to talk and pray with me. (That's a whole other story.)
It was a wonderful night!
