Listen, 👀

I get it baby, it’s easy to scroll online and see all the things:
“Do this, do that, eat this, train like this, and you’ll look like that.”
The idea that if you do EXACTLY what someone else does, you’ll have their success, right?

Pulling ideas and taking advice are great this is why I make post to try to set people up for success But here’s the thing honey, we’re all different.
We all have unique:
🌱Lifestyles
🌱 Schedules
🌱 Training histories
🌱Nutrition backgrounds

Not everyone feels they need a coach, and that’s okay. But sometimes, having one might be the missing piece to achieving your goals.

I asked one of my amazing clients to reflect on her experience working with a coach, and here’s what she had to say:

1️⃣ What motivated you to start working with a trainer?
“I realized what I was doing wasn’t working, so I knew I needed to ask for help.”

2️⃣ What has been the greatest benefit?
“The knowledge and support I’m receiving has been a game changer.”

3️⃣ What accomplishment are you most proud of?
“Staying consistent even on the hard days and losing weight while gaining muscle!”

4️⃣ Why would you encourage someone to hire a coach?
“It was the best decision I’ve ever made for myself. I’d been trying to take care of myself for years, but I kept giving up. Having you as a coach has made me feel supported and less alone. I love the community we’ve all building, and now I feel confident showing up for myself. I know others would benefit from it too.”

Having a coach goes beyond personalized workouts. It’s about accountability, expert guidance, and someone who genuinely cares about your progress. (Just make sure it’s the right coach for you because not all are the same 😉)

A coach provides motivation when things get tough, helps you avoid injuries, and equips you with the tools to make fitness sustainable for the long run.

If you’ve been on the fence about taking your fitness journey to the next level, this is your sign to get started! The Bloom community is turning into something amazing and we are always happy to help other women win too 😘

A hard pill to swallow: Sometimes showing up for yourself means disappointing others, and that’s okay.

As someone who’s always wanted to help others, even at the expense of my own needs, I know how heavy it can feel to let someone down. The guilt, the second-guessing, the internal tug-of-war. But here’s what I’ve learned: when you constantly push your needs aside, you’re the one paying the price.

By neglecting yourself, you’re letting you down, and that’s a relationship you can’t escape. You live with yourself every day. If your cup is empty, how can you truly pour into others?

We need to unlearn the idea that prioritizing ourselves is selfish. It’s not. It’s self-respect. It’s self-preservation. It’s recognizing that your needs, your rest, your joy are just as important as anyone else’s.

Focus on you. Take the time to check in with yourself. Disappointing someone for a moment is far better than losing yourself in the process. Let’s normalize saying “no” without guilt and embracing the power of boundaries.

✨ Showing up for yourself isn’t just okay, it’s essential. ✨

What’s one way you’ll prioritize yourself? Let me know in the comments!

To the person who’s questioning if they should keep going or just call it quits, this is for you and ME.

I don’t have all the answers no one does I have days of doubts and fears like anyone else but I’ve also seen what it is to hit my lowest and I never want to be there again. So let me share this with you.

It’s okay to have doubts. It’s okay to feel like you’re not doing enough. Life comes with good days and bad, and some days it feels easier to let go than to keep trying. I’ve been there. I’ve given up before, and I know how dark that road can feel. But I’m here to tell you (and me) from experience, don’t give up on yourself.

This is why I always say, just because it’s the weekend doesn’t mean you stop taking care of you. I’m not saying you have to work out on the weekend, but I am saying to keep your word to yourself. Show up for YOU in whatever way you need in that moment.

Take it day by day. Some days will feel lighter, and others will feel like a fight but both are part of the process. You don’t have to be perfect BECAUSE NO ONE IS. You just have to keep trying. Feel what you need to feel, but don’t let it stop you. Keep going, keep trying, and remind yourself that you’re worth the effort.

Do it happy. Do it sad. Do it mad. Do it confused. Do it tired. Just don’t give up on YOU!

If you too are feeling a little overwhelmed today know you aren’t alone. I too let out a good cry two days ago because I had some crappy feelings but I felt it and found a way to show up for me still.

Measuring Cups or Weighing Food: What’s the Best Way to Track Macros? 🤔

The question I get asked most often: Should I track my food, and if so, where should I start?

When I begin working with clients, I ask them to share everything they’re eating, no judgment, just observation. This gives us a starting point to understand habits and create a plan.

From there, we start small by using measuring cups and spoons. This step helps build awareness of portion sizes without being overwhelming. Once they feel confident with that, we transition into weighing food for greater precision, especially if they have specific goals like fat loss or muscle gain.

One of my clients shared this insight during a call:
“Before I started using cups, I’d just eyeball everything. I always felt like I was eating too much, but after using measuring cups, I realized I was actually undereating. It’s crazy how adding one small step completely shifted my view on food.”

So, cups or a scale: what’s better?
For beginners, measuring cups are perfect. They’re simple, quick, and effective for foods like oats, rice, or veggies.

When you’re ready for a deeper dive into accuracy, especially with calorie-dense foods like peanut butter or cheese, a food scale becomes your best friend.

The secret? Use both. Start with cups to get comfortable, then progress to weighing for precision. Tracking isn’t about perfection baby it’s about progress. The consistency you build over time will transform your results.

My girl signed up for 12 months of training, and she’s already almost 5 weeks in, focusing on the whole picture, her mental and physical health. We’ve worked together in the past, but I have to say, this time around, everything is clicking for her.

There’s nothing I love more than seeing another woman, especially a mom find her inner strength, not just for herself but for her family. She’s already down almost 8.9 lbs, has lost inches in her waist, has more energy to play with her kids, and is feeling more confident planning meals and making better long-term choices.

Here’s a little of what she had to say:

“I feel soo good mentally and physically. I’m so proud of myself for focusing on my health and learning to make healthier choices. It’s so much more than a number on a scale for me now, it’s about my overall health. I’m so excited to see my progress in a year from now.”

“You’re seriously the best trainer, you really are! You go above and beyond all the time. You are so involved with your clients and help us every step of the way! I haven’t posted anything on my IG because I’m tired of always starting and then failing. This time, I’m making moves in silence. No one knows I’m working on my health besides my family.”

👏🏽 That last part: “making moves in silence” is what I think will help her stay focused. She’s blocking out the outside noise and focusing on herself. This is HER journey, and I’m so proud to be part of it.

Thank you for trusting me to guide you.

If you’re looking for guidance, support, and a judgment-free community, we have room for YOU. We’re just women working to build healthier relationships with ourselves and those around us.

First workout of 2025 complete 💪🏼

My last workout in 2024 was back on December 16th before I got hit with being sick 🤒, and let me tell you, it feels AMAZING to finally move my body again. 🙌🏼

Today wasn’t my strongest workout, but strength isn’t always about lifting the heaviest weights or setting PRs it’s about showing up, even when it feels tough.

This is exactly why I love training. It’s not just about aesthetics or goals (though those are great cause I know I got them too) but it’s about how movement makes me feel. It boosts my mood, clears my mind, and reminds me how resilient my body truly is. After being stagnant for so long, there’s no better feeling than reconnecting with what my body can do.

Here’s to showing up, no matter where you’re starting from. Progress isn’t linear, but every step counts. 2025, let’s go!

Falling in love with someone while falling in love with yourself is one of the most beautiful yet challenging journeys you can experience.

It’s about finding harmony between building a life with someone and nurturing the relationship you have with yourself.

Marriage, just like any relationship, isn’t easy. It requires effort, communication, and a willingness to grow both together and individually. Love isn’t just the butterflies or the romantic moments; it’s choosing each other even on the hard days, learning to navigate differences, and showing up, even when it’s not convenient.

But here’s the magic: as you deepen your love for yourself, you bring a stronger, more grounded version of you into your relationship. You learn to set boundaries, communicate your needs, and give love without losing yourself. And in doing so, you create space for a partnership that’s not just about dependence but about two whole people building a life together.

Loving someone while learning to love yourself is a balancing act, but when both are nurtured, it creates a bond that can weather the storms and grow even stronger through them.

I choose to love you through every season.

2024 had its challenges, but it also brought so many victories.

This year, I took a step back to rebuild my business from the ground up. Along the way, I’ve been able to help so many amazing women, and together, we’re creating something truly beautiful. My business may not be the biggest, but it’s built on honesty, hard work, determination, and really doing it all on my own.

I’m endlessly grateful to everyone who continues to trust me. Some of you have been here since day one, and others just joined the journey, but I’m so glad you’re all here and ready to keep prioritizing yourselves and your health in 2025.

2024 brought me back to my faith again, brought me and my family closer than ever, and showed me how strong I really am. It may have broken me a little, but it didn’t kill me. And for that, I’m thankful.

Let’s be real: we know I’m not a social media queen 👸🫣, but one thing I know for sure is that I’m great at supporting and helping women find themselves again. That’s my true passion, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to walk alongside you in your journey.

Yes, 2024 was tough, but I’m thankful I didn’t give up and even more thankful for my crew who didn’t give up on themselves either.

If all you did this year was survive, let me remind you: that’s something to be proud of.As we head into 2025, let’s slow down, prioritize our mental health, and start thriving together.

I absolutely love this mindset shift!

Focusing on being healthy rather than just the number on the scale or a ‘diet’ makes such a big difference.

It’s all about building a sustainable lifestyle, and she’s absolutely nailing it. She’s giving herself grace while staying consistent, and that’s exactly what leads to lasting progress real results take time, and she’s showing up for herself in the best way.

Slower and steady workouts are perfect for building a routine without feeling overwhelmed, and they’re a great reminder that fitness is about progress, not perfection. Choosing to stay active, even on rest days, shows how committed she is to her well-being and how much she values herself. It’s inspiring to see her prioritize health and balance, proving that small, intentional choices each day add up to something amazing.

I’m so proud of her for making herself a priority and showing up with such dedication keep it up, bb, you’re doing incredible!

Stick with it.

Stick with it through the hard days, the frustrating “why am I even doing this?” days, the “I don’t know if I can keep going” days. Stick with it through the life changes moving across the country, navigating the chaos of being a working mom, or just keeping up with life when it feels like too much.

Stick with it through the wins the “I’m finally starting to feel good” days, the “Wow, I’m proud of myself” moments, and the exciting “I can’t wait to see how far I’ll go” mindset.

That’s exactly what my girl is doing. She’s not chasing quick fixes anymore. Sure, she’s been there before she got fast results but couldn’t sustain them, gained the weight back, and struggled with her relationship with food. But now?

Now, she’s doing it right. She’s focused on consistency. She’s taking it slow and steady, building strength in the gym, losing body fat, and fueling her body without guilt. She’s learned balance and even enjoys her pasta fearlessly.

Because this isn’t about a race to the finish line. It’s about creating a sustainable, healthy, and happy lifestyle she can stick with for life.

To anyone out there who feels stuck, frustrated, or unsure keep going. Progress is built day by day, habit by habit, and win by win. You’ve got this.

12/16/2024

Staying accountable on your health journey can feel challenging when your partner isn’t on the same path.

Maybe they don’t share your fitness goals, or their food choices make it harder for you to stick to your plan. This is something I hear often, and I know it’s not easy.

Here are some tips that might help:
🌱 Communicate Your Goals: Let your partner know why this journey is important to you, so they can better understand and support you even if they don’t participate.
🌱 Set Boundaries: If certain habits are tempting for you, like having unhealthy snacks at home, politely ask for compromises (like keeping treats out of sight or designating specific spaces for them).
🌱 Find Your Support System: Join a community that aligns with your goals, whether online or in person, to share wins and struggles. This can help fill any gaps if your partner isn’t actively involved.
🌱 Stay Flexible: Life happens. Whether it’s dinner out or conflicting schedules, allow yourself some grace while still staying committed to your long-term goals.

I also want to acknowledge that this advice may not apply to everyone. Life, relationships, and struggles are unique for each of us, and finding balance can be deeply personal. Whatever your situation, remember this: your journey is about YOU. Show up for yourself consistently, and don’t forget to celebrate every step forward.

What would you add if you’ve been in this situation before?
