HIIIII 👇🏼

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted on here, but I promise I’m still out here doing all the things taking care of my Bloom girls, working my new job at the school, still slowly growing my baking biz, and pouring into my family 🫶

💪 Life update: today was my first day back inside an actual gym in a hot minute! I’ve been aiming at doing home workouts (because life’s been BUSY to make it to gym gym ), but it felt so good to lift inside a gym with others again. I’m even debating switching to those stupid early morning workouts before my school job instead of late-night sessions we’ll see if caffeine agrees with that plan 😂☕️

Life can get hectic but don’t forget to do something good for you. Move your body, stretch, breathe, or take 5 minutes to reset. You deserve to feel proud of the effort you’re giving, even in the busy seasons

This. This is the WHY.

One of my clients shared this beautiful reminder that stopped me in my tracks:

“I used to never go on rides with my kids because I was so insecure about my size.
I’d worry if I’d even fit, if the seatbelt would buckle, or if people would stare.
So I’d stay back and miss out.

But after losing 50 pounds, I said YES all day.
I went on every ride, fit comfortably, and had the best time with my kids.
My oldest even convinced me to go on a roller coaster and it was the BEST!

I got emotional on one of the rides thinking about how far I’ve come.
I used to focus only on the number on the scale… but moments like this?
They beat any number on the scale.”

THIS baby is what it’s all about, not just changing your body, but changing your life.
To be present, to say yes, to experience joy again. 🥹

It’s not just weight lost… it’s confidence gained, memories made, and moments reclaimed.

“It’s easy because it’s your job”

I’m sure some people think because I’m a personal trainer or I’ve been training for so many years that going to the gym or eating right is always soooo easy.
But let me be the first to say it isn’t.

Since getting a second job outside the home, I’ve noticed just how tired I really am 🤣.
The only “advantage” I have after doing this for years is that I know what it feels like to start over…
and I know what it feels like to feel like garbage when I don’t take care of myself.

So I remind myself, I get to choose my hard.

That doesn’t mean I don’t skip a day or have something “off plan.” I’m human, baby. But it does mean I don’t give up or go completely off the rails.

If you’re struggling right now, please know that I struggle too even after all these years as a coach.
But I can tell you this with certainty:
✨ Choose your hard.
✨ Choose the one that’s going to benefit your future self.
✨ Choose the one that reminds you you’re capable of hard things.

You don’t have to be perfect, just consistent.

I just want to take a second to say thank you. 🥹

To those who have worked with me in the past, those who are with me now, and those who’ve shared the good, the bad, and the “ugly” with me you are the reason I love what I do. You’ve trusted me, laughed with me, even cried with me (the good kind of tears 🥹).

My community might be smaller than some, but wow are we mighty. I get to watch women start to see themselves the way I see them: strong, capable, worthy, and absolutely enough. And that right there? That’s the dream. 🌸

Yes, I have days of self-doubt (who doesn’t?), but one thing I will never doubt is that I am exactly where I’m meant to be. I’m so honored to walk beside each of you on this journey.

Friday reminder

I’ll be the first to say…. I’m tired y’all 😅 it’s been a long week. But I know I can’t just throw in the towel. I gotta keep at it

That also means I’m giving myself permission to REST this weekend, because baby, we need rest too. 💤 Rest doesn’t mean we fall off or go back to old habits it just means we recharge so we can keep showing up stronger.

Some days it feels easy, some days it feels heavy, but every rep, every walk, every choice adds up.

So if you needed a sign to keep going into the weekend without giving up… this is it.

Today’s the day… my Invisalign is OFF!

Ever since I was younger, I hated my smile. It always looked like I was missing a tooth, and I would only take photos if I could stand on my left side and tilt my head just right. If not, I’d keep my mouth closed. I know teeth shouldn’t hold you back, but for me, they did. It affected the way I spoke, the way I smiled, and even how confident I felt looking people in the eye.

Getting braces wasn’t cheap (they’re pricey, y’all 😅), and it really set us back at the time, but I am SO glad I chose to invest in myself. My confidence has grown in every area of my life from showing up on FaceTime with my personal training clients, to speaking with people in person at the school, to simply being able to smile without thinking twice about it.

Tomorrow I go pick up my retainer I’ll wear it for (3–6 months, 24/7 except when eating/drinking coffee, then just at night after that). And even though there are still little “nit-picky” things i see 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️ I can finally say… I love my smile. And I’m not hiding it anymore.

✨ Personal Transformation ✨

From weighing somewhere in the 90s, barely eating one meal a day and not really caring for myself… ➡️ to now weighing 140 lbs, fueling my body with more whole foods, lifting heavy, and feeling stronger mentally and physically.

There was a time when seeing 140 on the scale would’ve sent me spiraling. Now? I feel proud, sexy, and healthy. 🙌 Do I carry more body fat than I’d like? Sure 🤣💁🏼‍♀️ But here’s the difference
I no longer punish myself. I know how to lose it the right way with balance, consistency, and kindness toward myself. I also have sick muscle 🤣 🍑

Because the scale doesn’t tell the whole story.
It doesn’t show the strength in my lifts.
It doesn’t show the energy I have to keep up with my girls.
It doesn’t show the confidence I’ve built or the way I carry myself now.
It doesn’t show the mental strength I’ve grown through this journey.

And speaking of strength today while working at my girls’ school, one of their friends looked at me and said, “you’re jacked.” Hearing that from a child (especially a girl) hit me in the heart. That’s the kind of influence I want to have not just for girls but for boys too. I want them to grow up seeing that taking care of your body is powerful and WORTH it.

This is exactly what I work on inside my community:

🌱 Healing your relationship with food & your body
🌱 Learning that health is about more than a number
🌱 And remembering that we’re always capable of growth
