✨Meet Millie✨

We had the honor of supporting a mama who came into her birth with clarity, confidence, and all the right questions. Watching her trust her plan, advocate for herself, and step fully into her own strength was nothing short of powerful. Birth is transformative—and she showed exactly what it looks like to stand in your power.

✨Pelvic health = self-care✨

Strengthening pelvic muscles and maintaining good pelvic health BEFORE and AFTER birth supports bladder/bowel control, reduces pain, enhances recovery, and supports long-term well-being.

Pregnancy and birth place a lot of stress on your pelvic floor — the hammock of muscles, ligaments, and fascia that supports your bladder, uterus, bowel, and re**um.

Before birth: Pregnancy itself can cause pelvic floor strain: extra weight, hormonal shifts, and pressure on pelvic organs may lead to muscle fatigue or weakness before even giving birth.

Research from PUBMED:

About one-third (≈ 33%) of women report urinary incontinence during pregnancy; around 25% still report it in the postpartum period.

Other common postpartum pelvic floor issues include perineal pain (over 50%), constipation (≈ 41%), gas or flatulence (≈ 34%) and painful in*******se (≈ 28%).

Long-term: in one study 3–5 years after first birth, ≈ 40.8% of women had urinary incontinence, ≈ 6.6% had f***l incontinence, and ≈ 10.2% had pelvic organ prolapse — more likely after vaginal birth than cesarean.

💜 “Once postpartum, always postpartum.” 💜

Even if many symptoms improve over time, a significant number — urinary incontinence, pelvic heaviness, organ prolapse, pelvic pain — can persist for years or even decades.
