MANIFEST YOUR REALITY
I often talk about healthy mindsets and habits with you all, as it is a key part of my training program. A couple weeks ago I talked about the things you do today dictating the person you will be tomorrow. This is true on a practical level. Our brains are wired to make habits out of things. If you do something enough, whether it is healthy or unhealthy, it will become a habit and therefore you will be doing it tomorrow.

Too manifest something is to look at that same concept from the opposite side of the coin. People in the self-help space often use this term to inspire us to picture our ideal life or self. You try and picture your goals as clearly as possible, whether it be related to money, health, or relationship. Live in that vision enough, and you will begin to think it is more and more possible.

You could stop there. You could just picture the life you want and hope that it seeps into your unconscious. You could hope that you begin to make choices that lead you towards that goal. I like the more direct route.

Start consciously taking the steps to lead you toward that life you so desperately want. Don't just manifest it in your mind. Manifest it into reality. Start that side hustle. Start getting your body and mind into shape to adequately handle the responsibility of starting a business and still maintaine your current responsibilities. Thats what real manifesting is: first you dream it, then you live it.

I don’t always wake up good to go.
In fact, this morning I was not rearing to get after it. I didn’t want to do my morning meditation. My mind was scattered the moment I got up. My will was WEAK.
Then I remembered why I do all the things I do. Meditation, eating clean, taking cold showers, working out every morning. It’s because we are surrounded by comfort, and some days your inner voice says you should wallow in that comfort. Sit in your complaints. Get real comfy in everything you think your a victim of.
Well that’s not how we progress. That’s not how we stay on the path. All the routines I talk about work to keep you on the path of relentless growth and freedom. It may feel good and fine to take the day off from getting after it, but the person you are today is the person you will be tomorrow. Every day you let yourself go is an insult to your future self.
Simply driving out into the middle of nowhere and going for a long, long walk with my soulmate and dog was enough to shut that inner voice up. Why sit on the couch and “take the day off” when there is rugged, breathtaking beauty to witness. Movements to be made. Things to do and experience.
Instead of saying “why do I have to do this”, reframe it with “I get the chance to do this”.
We get the chance to improve ourselves everyday. Happy Sunday y’all

Slow, steady movement can help you reach weight loss goals quicker than chronic cardio training can.
While running strengthens primarily the large muscle groups In the legs, slow aerobic movement like waking, hiking, yoga, or swimming strengthens all the primary and secondary muscle groups and joints responsible for all exercises.
Staying active all day with interspersed movement optimizes our metabolism for fat burning and stimulates healthy digestion and organ function.
Weight loss is not running yourself into the ground with high heart rate exercises everyday. The body doesn’t need that brutal of a stimulus. Provide steady, every day movement interspersed with weight training, a species appropriate diet, and your body will take it from there.

The easiest thing to do for health?
Blood sugar management. The SAD diet has set us up for complete failure in this regard with foods forming the basis of our diet that we have never had access to.
“Healthy” whole grains, cereals, out of season fruits, sugar, breads, it’s all the same to our body. Glucose constantly in the blood stream means constant storage and constant growth activation.
Not only does this chronic elevation of insulin/blood sugar lead to weight gain, it also leads to damage of the arteries and lays the stage for heart disease. We lose the ability to properly respond to insulin over time and become diabetic. Excess growth from a high sugar diet stimulates excess growth of malfunctioning cells, leading various cancers. Our gut microbiome gets imbalanced, leading to further issues and autoimmune disease. This all contributes to a shorter healthy lifespan and speeds up the approach of your disease span portion of life.
So what to do? Follow a species appropriate diet that gets rid of the aforementioned new additions. It’s like feeding our dogs kibble instead of meat. We stuff ourselves sick with grains and keep pretending it’s good for us. I educate clients on what our species actually needs to eat and how to make these foods into the everyday routine. Are you able to move how you want through life?
There are many markers of health. Average blood glucose, inflammatory markers, body fat % etc....
One of the most important markers is how you FEEL. Can you take an hour long walk through or hike? Do you have any s*x drive? Can you move in a full range of motion without pain?
If you don’t it’s understandable. Our modern habits and lives have taken on a role of working AGAINST our health instead of nurturing it. That’s where I come in.
A life full of habits that reduce your stress, fuel your body with optimal nutrition, and functional movements that translate to everyday life is attainable. It’s simply enacting those habits. We are all humans that respond to the same inputs.
Control and reduce stress with good sleep hygiene and mindfulness. Eat a species appropriate diet. Move every day in ways that support your body and strengthen it. Replace your conventional habits with these, and quality of health with improve DRAMATICALLY.

Stress reduction is key for weight loss and health goals.
Chronic stress has actually been shown to decrease telomere length. These are strands of DNA that can show us how quickly we are aging, and how soon we will enter the disease span of our life.
This is because modern stressors put us into a constant state of fight or flight by activating our sympathetic nervous system. Cortisol is secreted all day, causing high blood glucose levels. Inflammation increases and blood vessel damage ensues. Digestion is impaired. Peristalsis, the natural rhythm of organ function is handicapped. We just don’t work as well.
I used to respond with anger and anxiety to every stressful situation. A few years ago I started a concerted effort to switch off my reactive state. Stress reduction habits and mindset is key to getting our health back and reaching your full potential.
Getting out in nature with good company is some of the low hanging fruit. I help clients implement techniques to lower chronic stress. How do you de-stress?

LOSING WEIGHT IS POSSIBLE
No, you don’t have a fat gene. Don’t let social programming, conventional wisdom, and culture tell you that weight loss is an unattainable goal for you.
We are all the same species that responds to the same inputs. Our bodies and genes all respond to the same stimuli.
A diet high in bioavable nutrients sources from fats and protein and low in carbohydrates (adjusted for activity level) will switch us from glucose metabolism to fat metabolism, allowing us to burn our own stores of fat.
Weight loss is about the foods you eat every day. It’s about knowing how these foods affect your blood sugar and insulin. It’s about knowing how your body stores and burns energy. It isn’t rocket science, it’s simply how our bodies work.

Up the Elephants head today for a workout.... a few miles of hills does the trick.
Slow, aerobic movement is the simplest thing you can do to upgrade your health. Everything from insulin sensitivity, fat metabolism, and toning of the secondary and slow twitch muscle fibers are improved. Just from walking! Ask any centenarian about their habits. It has been proven time and time again that a big part of the longevity equation is simply MOVING

What an awesome day. 90+ lbs of fresh lamb meat from . I could not be more pumped to try it out. We got the whole animal, bones organs (heart and liver in the next pic) and all.
Support your local livestock farmers. This lamb was the most cost effective meat I’ve ever bought, and at the same time the highest quality. Grass fed and raised 50 miles from my house. Animal foods provide the most dense source of nutrition on earth. Clients and friends and family alike continually find benefit and improvement in their health from increasing the amount of animal food in their diet, and lowering the amount of processed vegetable foods (grains, whole grains, sugar, soy, corn)

Question when people tell you meat is unsustainable. Animal farming emits less carbon than plant agriculture. Well managed ruminant farming actually creates a carbon sink that has a net negative carbon emission profile. Maintaining our grasslands with animals regenerates the soil and improves our environment, while creating a much more nutrient dense and bioavailable source of protein than any plant.
At the same time our arrived today bringing an array of grass fed and heritage breed chicken, pork, and beef. Needless to say we should be set for the rest of the year with a 300 combined purchase. Invest in your health, the health of the planet will follow
