Sunsets and Silver Linings is Now Available. This book is recommended for anyone that is on the long journey of helping your parents through a chronic neurodegenerative condition. In our case it was Parkinson's and Lewy Body Dementia. I was responsible for my dad's care - but also ensuring my mom's needs were met as his caregiver. My goal in sharing our very personal story is to encourage engagement with your parents, provide resources and tips to make traveling the road of caring a little easier, as well as a bit more inspirational. Caregiving for our parents can be our most purposeful calling in life. I hope you will be blessed by our journey - A-HA moments and hard lessons learned, but also recognize it as a time of great beauty and joy through mindfulness of seeking the silver linings.
