Friday was Hat Day at Paramount Rehabilitation Services and Paramount Children's Therapy Centers.

Our staff and patients had fun participating in this spirit day - and several also wore Lion gear in hopes for a great game this Sunday!

Our Bridgeport patient of the month for September is Aaron!

Aaron was nominated by his Occupational Therapist, Janelle, because always has fun and works hard during OT sessions.

Since attending therapy, Aaron has increased his handwriting legibility and has improved his pencil grasp. Janelle also reports Aaron is making progress at labeling his emotions and at increasing self-regulation.

We are very happy Aaron's family chose Paramount Children's Therapy Center for his Occupational Therapy treatment.

Good job Aaron; keep up the great work!

On Friday September 12th, the staff from Paramount Children's Therapy Centers in Bay City, Bridgeport, and Chesaning gathered for their bi-annual Professional Development sessions. Our Fall Professional Development was a day filled with learning, growth, camaraderie, and fun.

The three staffs came together for learning and training to better serve our pediatric patients. Topics included: Reciprocal Imitation, ABA Terminology, Differential Reinforcement, Pairing, Instructional Control, Self-Care, Adult and Pediatric CPR / First Aid, and several others.

Thank you to everyone for your focus and dedication to learning. These Professional Development sessions allow our staff to grow, learn, and collaborate.

Everyone did an amazing job and are excited to implement new strategies with our patients.

Today was Football Day at Paramount Rehabilitation Services and Paramount Children's Therapy Center. Staff wore their favorite team gear and favorite team colors.

The Paramount Rehab Bay City East office had a little internal competition with most of the staff rooting for the Lions, while our West Coast transplant, Brian, still roots for the 49'ers.

We would like to thank everyone who came to the Bridgeport Open House last Friday - everyone had a great time!

We would especially like to thank Lilene from NooNoo & MiMi's Face Painting, Kasey from Twisting Smiles Balloon Art, and Bouncing Bella's Party Rentals for helping us with the face painting, balloons twisting, and the bounce house - everything was wonderful!
