The Empowerment Center is currently seeking a Program Director to join our team and lead with purpose. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a mission-driven environment, understands the importance of mental health and wellness, and is ready to oversee programs that make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and oversight for daily operations of all center programs

Supervise and support staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery

Develop and maintain partnerships with community stakeholders

Ensure compliance with licensing, audits, and funding requirements

Support growth, innovation, and evaluation of existing and new initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred)

3–5 years of leadership or program management experience

Strong understanding of mental health, developmental disabilities, or substance abuse services

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills

Attention All Volunteers!
The Empowerment Center is seeking volunteers for a variety of assignments, including educational workshops that include financial Literacy, strategic life planning, business planning etc.

We are also seeking volunteers to provide:
Spiritual Guidance (Holistic Practices, Reiki Healing, Sound Baths, Meditation Sessions)
Fitness Classes (e.g., Zumba, Yoga, Chair Exercise for the community)

While most of these assignments are volunteer-based and free of charge, we welcome those who offer wellness crafts or services with a light fee to come and connect with us. We have the space available!

If you're interested in contributing or sharing your skills, please reach out. We look forward to collaborating and empowering others together!

Mindshifters has been doing some amazing work through 2023 and now 2024 addressing mental health and homelessness.

We depend on donations and our community partners to invest in the whole person. It cost to bring individuals out the mud when the world has ignored, or pretended not to see these individuals who need support beyond words.

We.need assistance with ensuring we continue to provide basic needs to these individuals. Any donation would be great.
