It looks like Hampton Roads finally got a good amount of snow this time. I hope everyone is safe if they need to travel. My clients usually ask me what are ways to avoid back and neck pain. One way is being mindful of your form when doing strenuous activities. Since a lot of you might be shoveling snow, please be mindful of how you do so. If it feels uncomfortable, please evaluate your stance!

It has been awhile since I've posted on my massage therapy page regularly. I think I'm going to go ahead and reintroduce myself 😊

My name is Ebony Foreman and I am a licensed massage therapist. I have been practicing my craft for 17 years now and it has definitely been a journey. My experience has placed me in spas, chiropractor offices, on my own, and currently a therapy clinic. Helping people has always been a passion of mine and massage has been the perfect medium. While the work I do is intuitive I will listen to any concerns you may have and tailor the treatment to fit those needs.

I seek to curate a space for my clients to come in and drop the heavy things in life whether it be physical pain or emotional stress. I want people to feel safe and be themselves and it brings great joy to provide that space for a person.

So hey, last year I just mentioned that I was going to start rebuilding my clientele. I still wasn't quite sure what I wanted or how it might look so I took some time to really figure it out. I've decided to really be more intentional with my practice.

Starting this month I will have a space where I hope to begin to build and grow my practice again.

I usually suggest trying things like this for plantar fasciitis. Frozen water bottles and tennis balls may be helpful as well 😊
