The Emface Process 👇 What to Expect?

Consultation

Before your Emface treatment, you'll meet with our BTL specialist for a facial sculpting consultation. We will examine your treatment area(s), answer your questions, and discuss your concerns and goals for this treatment. The consultation process helps us determine if this is the best treatment for you and how many sessions are needed for your desired results.

Emface Treatment

For the procedure, we will ensure you are in a comfortable lying position before applying the Emface paddles to your forehead and cheeks. You will feel the sensation of muscle contractions created by electromagnetic energy and some heat, but it should not be painful. We can adjust the Emface to your tolerance level for the duration of the treatment.

Next Steps

After your Emface treatment, you may go about your day as normal.

Kristine Van Kirk, MD, is an experienced physician who offers integrative medicine services for patients at Healthy Lifestyle Medicine in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Her passion lies in helping men and women achieve their best health. By combining conventional medicine with complementary and alternative therapies, Dr. Van Kirk is able to support patients in their overall well-being.



Dr. Van Kirk was born and raised in Cheyenne and attended East High School. She graduated from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming, with a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology



She then attended the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington, for her medical degree as part of the Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho (WWAMI) partnership program.

Dr. Van Kirk completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, where she was chief resident. When she returned to Cheyenne, she spent six years in private practice as an OB/GYN.



She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a member of the Wyoming Medical Society and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She is also a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).



Dr. Van Kirk has always been enthusiastic about health and wellness and uses various approaches such as exercise, nutrition, and yoga to promote better health.



She enjoys leading an active life when she’s not with her patients, including spending time with her husband, an avid outdoorsman, and her son.
