rginalized, oppressed, and exploited people through innovative and creative evidence-based and promising processes that are client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. WEvovle is committed to community wellness through our clients because equitable access to quality mental health and substance abuse treatment services can reduce the risk of su***de, legal issues, family conflict, employment issues, and substance use, as well as other issues. WEvolve hopes that, through our services, our clients will be better able to pursue health, happiness, recovery, and live a full and satisfying life within our community. WEvolve’s services for residents within our service area consist of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment including therapy, client-centered advocacy, consultation, evaluation, case management, recovery and peer wellness coaching, and peer mentoring with individuals, families, groups, communities, and organizations including specialized services for individuals who use, misuse, or abuse alcohol or other substances and individuals who are chronically mentally ill.

Job Opportunity: Peer Specialist

WEvolve, LLC is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Peer Specialists. This role encompasses various titles, including Recovery Coach, Recovery Specialist, Job Coach, Peer Wellness Coach, Peer Mentor, and Peer Advocate. As a Peer Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting a culture that values each client’s perspective and preferences, integrating them into treatment, rehabilitation, and community self-help activities.

The ideal candidate will:
• Monitor substance use disorders and stabilize mental health illnesses.
• Recognize instability in clients with co-occurring mental health diagnoses.
• Obtain and interpret information regarding client needs.
• Demonstrate competency in working with clients experiencing substance use disorders.

Qualifications:
•Certified or willing to become certified through Recover Wyoming and the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) for Peer Recovery.
• Adherence to the Wyoming Peer Specialist Code of Ethics.
• Ability to provide services from the perspective of lived experience with mental health and/or substance use systems.
• Demonstrates self-sufficiency and supports clients in directing their recovery and advocacy processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement treatment plan components that promote client empowerment and skill development.
• Teach and support the management of symptoms, leveraging community resources.
Advocate for and assist clients in developing formal and informal support systems.
• Serve as a mentor, facilitator, and advocate to improve clients’ well-being.
• Assist parents/legal guardians in enhancing their ability to support children with emotional, behavioral, or co-occurring disorders.

Additional Duties:
• Provide transportation to necessary appointments to ensure consistent client participation.
• Collaborate as part of a team to deliver highly individualized services and promote self-determination.
• Follow all WEvolve, LLC policies, procedures, and standards, including compliance with privacy regulations (45 CFR Part 160 and 164).
