March 4 Legislative Update:
-HB0003 (Pregnancy Care Centers bill) passed the Senate yesterday and went back to the House for a concurrence vote today at 10am
-HB0126 (Human Heartbeat bill) gets its third reading in the Senate today at 10am
-HB0117 (SHE WINs/informed consent) did not make it past committee of the whole yesterday and will not be heard, so it’s most likely dead.

Please continue to pray and contact your Representatives and Senators. Both wyofambilltracker.org and wyoleg.gov have “Find Your Legislator” features if you don’t know who your legislators are. Let them know that the lives of the unborn are nonnegotiable, and that this is not the issue to play political games with.

This wonderful piece of legislation was introduced yesterday. The Baby Olivia Act requires Wyoming school districts to provide human growth and development instruction for grades 5–12, including specific ultrasound and fetal development videos, directs the Department of Education to approve and audit instructional materials, allows parental opt-outs, and makes the requirement effective beginning in the 2026–2027 school year.

Two very important pro-life bills are being heard at the Capitol on Monday, February 16th, at 8am. (This is a change from the previously published date of Friday.)

The Stop Harm-Empower Women with Informed Notices (Also known as SHE WINS) HB0117 deals with enhanced informed-consent before any abortion is provided, mandating that women receive specific, complete information on abortion and alternatives, and allowing civil actions and remedies if the law is violated.

The Human Heartbeat Act HB0126 prohibits abortions once a detectable fetal heartbeat is present, requires heartbeat checks before procedures, allows only narrow medical emergency exceptions, and imposes felony penalties and professional license revocation for violations.

We encourage you to attend the hearings if you're able, and if you feel so led, to prayerfully consider testifying in favor of both of these protections for the unborn. If you choose to testify, please keep your testimony respectful, follow decorum procedures, prepare for questions, and keep comments under 3 minutes. Our Aloha Life Gala last Saturday was a night to remember! We are so grateful for all of our supporters who came, sponsored, and donated to help make the banquet so incredibly successful! We can’t wait to get to work this year and keep building the respect for life in our state!
